      Correct! You can purchase from Three UK - However you would only be able to purchase it once you arrive in the UK.

      If you buy from us, you will have a SIM ready to use in 42 countries without having to buy it in the UK first! :)

      £20 from 3 shops and £30 from the vending machines at Heathrow airport.

      If you need a phone the minute you land use your Aus phone for roaming until you get to a 3 shop to buy it for £20.

      We bought 2 in the UK when we arrived and worked great in the UK and France.

      There is no shelf life before using the SIM.

      Once you pop it in your phone and start using it; the bundle will expire in 1 month.

      And if you are to not recharge the SIM after you have used the bundle the SIM will expire after 12 months.

    Purchased one of these SIMs (not from this company) about 6 weeks ago. Traveled to the following countries and it worked great in each of them. Just need to activate in the UK is the only thing.

    UK > France > Switzerland > France > Spain > France > Monaco > Italy > Netherlands > Qatar

      Great thing about these SIM cards is that you do not have to activate them in in the UK first. Pop it in your mobile, turn on data roaming and it will work in any of the countries listed :)

          I understand that Three UK do advise that it needs to be activated in the UK first. However I can guarantee this particular SIM doesn't need to be activated in the UK first - We've tested this numerous times.

          I got this back in Feb. It's the Phone SIM with the "Feel At Home" add-on.
          Activated in Australia and tested before I left, worked fine when I arrived in France.
          I believe its the Mobile Broadband only / Data SIMs that have to be activated in the UK first.

          Was 3G outside of UK. Speeds were mixed. Some places didn't have reception where my Teststa roaming did. Tended to switch back to hotel wifi for better speeds when not out and about. When we eventually made a stop in the UK, could tether and get 4G speeds.

    If I activate on arrival in the UK and two weeks later travel to Italy, what options do I have to recharge from Italy to get an extra 30 days, ie I need two months in total?

      Great question! We find that most of our customers that are travelling for longer than 30 days will do either:

      A) Use the Three UK live chat to top-up
      B) Purchase two SIM cards for the 2 months

    Is the SIM device dependent? That is, can I swap it between my Android phone and my iPad?
    I bought this from FindMyPlan during the last offer & will be travelling in July.
    So just want to know if I can use for calls/SMS on phone, then for data usage - pop the SIM in the iPad for a larger screen experience?

    It is not device dependant - you can swap between both your phone and iPad :)

    However, you can't put it into a mi-fi device nor hotspot.

    You can use the messages and calls to UK numbers! (Including any Three Mobile no's)

        No, you cannot message or call ANY number, only UK numbers. You may call UK numbers from any of the 42 countries but calling a number that isn't a UK number would not work.

        You can add more credit to the SIM to make international calls if you wish.

          But now you sat it's not for use only in the UK but rather that you can only call or text UK numbers but can do it from anywhere in Europe?

          Just to clear up the confusion:

          You can call UK numbers from the listed 42 countries. But not any number, for example - you wouldn't be able to call an Australian Number

          We find most of our customers will use the Data for apps like WhatsApp to do most of their calling/messaging.

          Yes the SIM will work in Australia, but once you pop it into your phone and activate it the expiry will start! (So if you're going to do this, do it 1 day prior to departure)

    I'm looking at these for a school tour through Europe. If I was to purchase 10 of these, would the included 300 mins of call credit apply from sim to sim as long as they are in one of the Feel at Home Countries?

      You're completely right! The great thing about Three is that you can call from SIM to SIM in the 42 feel at home countries :)

    I have a bit of a dumb question.

    Im planning on going to Europe ( Croatia and Switzerland). I would like to buy one of these sims. Im only interested in using the 12GB Data on my mobile phone, to use the skype app and make calls back home to Australia, and other countries in Europe.

    Will I be able to do this with this sim you are selling? Or is there some reason why my plan wont work?

    Bought one of these and it was delivered by "find my plan". Gotta say, it was awesome to be able to roam around Europe on the one sim. Had good coverage in most countries (although only 3g). Used it all through France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Italy and it was a lifesaver. You cant buy a roaming sim in continental Europe until after July this year, when the new reforms come in allowing no extra charges for roaming. Definitely worth every cent.

      You can recharge the SIM, you won't be able to do it directly through the "Top-up" section on Three's website though. The work around is to jump onto live chat and they will be able to top-up for you.

      If that's too much of an issue we do find most of our customers will purchase an extra SIM if they're there for longer than a month! :)
