  • Left your Mothers Day gift till the last minute?

No, I didn't buy her anything.

Once a jolly swagman camped by a biltong,

Under the shade of a jerky tree,

And he jerked as he watched and waited till his biltong broiled,

    Who'll come a-jerking with me?

    • I'd be happy to do some jerking with Matilda, but not you Scab.

  • Anyone know what this Jerky is like?

    • Hi bellpop. I'm biased but your can checkout our reviews on fb

      • Thanks mate. Is it like Geronimo Jerky? I loved that stuff. I hate the Jack links stuff and the crappy stuff from Aldi.

Any free shipping if I order say, $50 worth?

I've been looking for a geronimo gerky replacement for the best part of a year now

  • Sorry I've not actually tried Geronimo, but we are definitely not anything like jack links or Aldi! Worlds apart

  • Just ordered 3 packets of each, mmmm hungry now…

    • And pork crackling! Good choice!

      • HAHA yea i saw that and figured i might give them a try.

  • Trust me. You won't be disappointed

  • Tempted to buy a couple of packets to try for starters but shipping kills it for me:(

    • Getting the 200g packet is $1 more than the half price 40g packets, and then you can use the freeshipping code, which is what I did :)

    • Buy 8 packs! In addition to saving $32 you'll only be paying less than $1 per pack!

  • Gonna try you out, great pricing :)

Hate that jack links rubbish, can't eat it anymore after that coles special lol.

    • Thanks mate. Looking forward to your feedback!

  • How long's the free shipping code lasting for? :P

Ordered a few to try out but would like to know how long I'd have to order some bigger bags if I like them enough.

    • +1

At the moment it doesn't….. but that might change at some point so quick! Haha contact me if you get stuck I'm sure we can work out something

  • tempting! do you have any nutritional info handy?

    • Hi snappy Tom. Great idea I'll get them posted to the website. In the meantime send me an email and I can forward them to you

  • I'm not a Beef Jerky type of guy, but I recently bought a small pack from Woolies. I believe it was $5 for 75g. That works out to be about $65-$70 per kg. That still seems cheaper than this considering the shipping cost, but how much better quality are these jerky deals I see on ozbargain once in awhile?

    • There's generally no comparison. The mass market ones have a very different texture and less flavour in my experience. I still like them since I'm not very picky but the stuff I buy online (or occasionally from the easter show) is insanely better.

Haven't tried Swagman's yet but it'd have to be pretty terrible to not be an improvement. :P

    • Those taste really bad and the meat is soft. Different quality, can't compare.

      • Good to know. Any particular jerky brands or places to recommend? Convert me!

        • +1

I have tried Geronimo Jerky and biltong.com.au, both different in texture and both nice. I prefer the Geronimo chilli ones out of those 2 though.

  • Got my delivery today. Man the Extra Chilli is nice. Texture is great, its hard but still edible and nom nom nom.

    • Hi Mate,
Thanks for the feedback! glad you like it. Have you tried the Pork Crackling yet?

      • Just tried it, very good. Its soft but still crunchy.
The ones i've tried from the supermarket is all hard crunch and dry.
