    I had a run in with this company once - similar sort of arrangement, very reasonably priced to upgrade or a cheap new customer rate, then renewals skyrocket (to more than the advertised retail rate on their site), when I asked for a reduction in the renewal price (to at least the full current retail) it was denied despite me pointing out how ridiculous a situation where an existing customer is forced to pay more than listed retail simply because they are an existing customer. I went elsewhere but it was a giant hassle to re-set email, domain details, hosted images etc etc.

      Seems to be their standard tactic, only solution is to move hosting providers every 1-2 years.

      Yeah, I've seen this, I got a WHM reseller account with them last year for around $90…If they dont give me a decent price on renewal I'll be leaving…(Normal price is $470 or so….unreasonable.) Happy to go to about $200 a year.

      You just need to renew when their sale goes on (few weeks before my renewal every year). It's all about timing but I do agree.. their RRP's are pretty steep. Good service though.

        Yeah I'm just waiting around for a good renewal deal. Hope they have something reasonable as yeah, the service is incredible. The most I see them to discount to regular customers is about 20-25% unless you upgrade your plan which seems to hit 50%…problem is, come next renewal there will be nowhere to go to upgrade…

        I don't use everything they offer on my plan as is but I like what the plan offers me. Can't seem to find too many other Aussie hosts doing the same for WHM.
