  • Serious question, do people actually use this app to DJ with, even in an amateurish way?

    • Honestly i can't think of a scenario where an actual DJ would use this.
      Its a bit of a novelty…
      Anyways free is free right?
For the amount of features i wouldn't be surprised if a DJ could actually use this.
      :)

How about between sets, on a bus or train? If I had a mix coming up and I wanted to test a few tracks on the go, its quicker than loading up traktor/serato and you can do it while standing. iOS has (or had) Traktor for tablet. Definitely hope nobody would use this for real

God no! There is NO way anyone is doing serious DJing without 2 soundcards.

The whole reason DJs wear headphones is to hear the next song before everyone else, so they can sync it up.

Phones only have one 2 channel output.

This is a toy app, not serious.

I'm not a DJ, but have massive respect for real DJs, not just those using prerecorded mixes (very rare now days but).

Mate DJ's using his iPad, think he splits the sound into 2 using a cable, hacks 2 channels, good for mates barbies maybe not DC-10 ;)

    • Nothing like mono music.
