Yeah I looked at the receipt, I was horribly off. They were $499 Sticker and I got them for $475. Yeah I got a shit deal looking back. But I still love them.

So I noticed it says international warranty periods vary, is it shipped overseas, will it still be covered under Bose Australia warranty?

Yeah; but you have to buy them in bulk and deliver them yourself.
And ask no questions to the supplier when they feel just a little bit too heavy plus they are also wrapped in Gaffa Tape?
And definitely don't test them to see if they work - even though you are taking them to the other side of the world as gifts for friends.
