    Neg for major problems with retailer.

    • They sell used shoes as new (tired ex-shop demos and returns)
    • They promise to fix problems when called out in public but do not follow through
    • they argue relentlessly rather than fix their mistakes (shout at customers on the phone etc)

    Buyer beware! Terrible company!

    Should probably show this review that I read, and this was the reply from ASICS:

    "You will need to contact Brand House Direct as we have not sold this style of shoe for 8+ years (if not longer) also Brand House Direct are not an Authorized dealer of ASICS in Australia. therefore we can not confirm if they have sold you an authentic ASICS product."

      I think it is time this seller is banned from OzBargain. They have been given plenty of chances to resolve issues with members of this site and have chosen not to.

      Let's clean up OzBargain to protect its users.

    I had problems with these guys as well. Bought a pair of Merrells that started to fall apart within 2 weeks. Contacting BHD - after a long delay and multiple emails, they said it was "normal wear and tear" and would not be treated as faulty goods.

    I contacted Merrell and thankfully they showed what good customer service entails. They said that they no longer sold the shoes due to quality concerns with model, and that BHD were selling old stock. They replaced the pair with a newer version of the model and they are faultless.

    Not worth the savings dealing with these guys in my opinion

    Would never buy from them again. My order from April showed up yesterday, 3 pairs of the shoes are either returns, used or ex display, the boxes so badly damaged I can't even store the shoes in them, one of the pairs of high heels has all the elastic stretched like someone with huge kankles wore them. Another pair of $80 shoes does not fit, the sizing is completely wrong. After reading all of the troubles others have had on here, I'm not even sure if I should try to return them as I fear I will end up without the shoes or a refund! Buyer beware!

      If you paid with PayPal you can sik them onto them. You will get a refund without much trouble, they already know about these guys

    So many issues with this store, they really should be banned. Most of the money they try make off you is shipping as well.

        I am pretty sure the mods read every report. I think when they don't clear quickly it quite often means they discussing them together. I bet BHD will have come up as a subject by now, seeing as they have ripped off so many OzBargainers and left their issues untreated.           I've found that there are plenty of dodgy sellers on this site and it takes a long time and a lot of reports (an unnecessary number) to get poor sellers removed from this site. Pretty disappointing. But I'm pretty sure I know why and it relates to $$$ (kick-backs, affiliates, etc).

          Really, if you can't do the right thing by the consumer then you should get lost. Doing the right thing is easy and there is so much potential to make money (I know, I am in business), why provide poor customer service?

          I've bought from these guys in the past (it's been awhile, for obvious reasons). I always thought something was suspect with the shoes as they were never current models to what else was available but the price was okay for what they were. I wouldn't buy from them again and certainly never will again based on current reports and the manner of the BHD rep.
