  Anyone know how good these are compared to other 1000TC sheets ?

  Website says "cotton" so probably better than the recent Catch of the Day cotton/polyester blend 1000TC deal.

    First set I bought years ago, got 5 years out of them (only set I had at the time, so 5 years full time), since bought 2 more sets about 2-3 years ago when similar deal came up.

    Comparing sheets by thread count is not a good idea as the method of measurement is not standard.

  From going in store, i'd say the Bamboo Cotton 600TC sheets are nicer than these. Not quite as heavy which suits more of Australia, and feel softer to touch as well. This is a great price though if you know you want 1000TC.

    Well yes, bamboo is better, but I advise against paying much attention to thread count numbers as they are about as useful as camera megapixels.

  go buy weight , the TC is how many threads NOT how much cotton they used ….. some sheets are very thin and they try to use less cotton and they don't wear or feel as nice.

  the heavier the better.

  same with towels ….. go by weight.

    These felt pretty heavy to me… not as heavy as the 1200TC Hotel Royale but certainly feels pretty luxurious to sleep on.
