  • that's pretty damn cheap. underwritten by Tokio Marine.

I usually use onlinetravelinsurance.com.au - which gave me a quote of $75 for my 2 weeks in Japan with a $250 excess

W2C (with code) is $57 with $100 excess

they are very similar in what they offer - (I only compared the Essentials/ comprehensive cover).

    Bought with these guys.

    thanks for posting.

  • Philippines for 7 nights in June $76, onlinetravelinsurance.com.au $33

  • damn, good price.
my upcoming trip: $209 onlinetravel (Allianz), $183 World2Cover. I paid $220 through another mob (Allianz) a few months ago :(

  • Most credit cards give free travel insurance. ..

Many credit card insurance policies have important limitations or exclusions that can be very dangerous to overlook - especially relating to pre-existing conditions of the travellers or of family members not travelling. It's crucial to read the PDS, no matter how boring;) and compare with normal policies.

  • Not for anyone older than 74 :(

Insure and Go also has 20% off with groupon20. Went with them for my upcoming SE Asia trip because they've got a hazardous activities pack that covers stuff most insurers don't, e.g. outdoor rock climbing.

  • Would anyone please let me know where do I enter code WW2, I could not find anywhere to put in this code…Any help is appreciated.

Just took cover for my upcoming trip to Vietnam.
The price was good and the cover looks good.
Of course, the real test comes in the claim - but I've used half a dozen insurers over the years and never had to claim on one so I really have no idea if one is any better than the other.

What ever happened to the regular SCTI discount codes

Good deal but beware of their terms, looking at rental vehicle excess coverage for example:
    "This is provided:
    • full motor insurance has been taken out as part of the rental agreement; and"

"the hiring arrangement must incorporate comprehensive motor insurance against loss or
damage to the Rental Vehicle; and"

Not having to pay the rental car excess down the full amount is a big benefit if renting a car which this insurance doesn't seem to help with…

Funnily enough, the code WC20 works as well, I entered it by mistake and still got the discount :)
