I'm actually fine with the battery usage. One of my cameras is recording more than 100 events a day (10 secs each) and after like 2 weeks of use, it's at 91%.
I have mixed feelings about these. Changing batteries all the time and not being able to ever plug them in would seem like a pretty huge drawback to me.
