lol , sold out so quick.

Did you see how many left when you ordered it?

      • +1

Nah, didn't spend time doing all that. Had to order asap!

      • Judging from comments, not many :D

      • there was more than 10 at the point of posting.

        • It said 9 available when I added to cart and by the time I signed into paypal it was gone..

        • oh my god the one time i had ozbargain open at the right moment, i had to be distracted by an email

how did you find this? did you set up alerts?

        • @furythree: ye, alerts for me.

        • [@jitubisht] (/comment/4762340/redir): how do you guys get alerts?

        • +1

@MrSammyMcG: when I missed the deal last time, I set up alert for Telstra store which I didn't have earlier. Just above the comments, under Telstra you'd see Subscribe button. Click on it and check the Deals checkbox and click OK. You'd get emails as soon as a deal is posted for Telstra.

        • @jitubisht: i mean how did OP find it on ebay

        • @jitubisht: ah I see it thanks so much I really appreciate it. It's probs like you that make Ozbargain a good place and what it is.

      • I didn't even bother applying cracka20. That's how quick I wanted to be! Its a bargain even without a code.

Got the gear 360 thanks for posting

i think it was 250 last time telstra had it so this is a bargain

    • Pleasure mate. Yes it was 250 last round.

    • You realized it is version 1, right?

      • Yup but really cheap to get into 360 cam world.

      • +2
      • Also better resolution than the latest version. Mines still sitting here unopened from the $250 deal :( :(

      • For 360 cameras, the resolution of version 1 is so much better. I'd buy this myself if I havent already got the LG 360 (half the resolution of this like version 2). The biggest downside of V1 is the clunkiness of it like a huge eyeball in your pocket.

  • +3

I checked Telstra every day and missed out..damn

    • +1

    • From now on people will keep checking until 11June :p

  • Thanks OP, ordered one. Cant go wrong with $88

  • These Huawei W1 Smart Watches sell pretty fast whenever they're posted here. Are they very good?

      Yes and also only $88.

      • Ta. Will keep an eye on this in the future. Hopefully they'll be relisted again soon.

    • Just got mine from amazon US for 187 US.

Every time I search huawei watch on Ebay I see loads of Gold B2 bands that people on here clearly bought for 28 dollars (or whatever it was) and are trying to sell for $125…losers

    • Every time I search huawei watch on Ebay I see loads of Gold B2 bands that people on here clearly bought for 28 dollars (or whatever it was) and are trying to sell for $125…losers

You do realise that stores make a profit and employ people? Right???

I guess you donate your time for the collective good rather then be employed and be part of the evil money making system.

      • +1
        • -5

I am talking about personal sellers. When did I mention stores?

So what? You do realise that you need to make money to live in Australia don't you? And that to do this you either have to sell your services at a profit to a business that has to make a profit to pay you or you have to do it other ways like selling your services directly or by selling goods.

So you're calling everyone a loser because they have to make money to live.

You neglected to mention the sellers selling them for $1888 and $1499! Why? Are you one of these sellers affected by others selling at a reasonable price?

        • @Maverick-au:

No, I am saying they have bought something on Ebay to resell on Ebay rather than letting somebody else on OZB / Ebay have it that bargain price who actually wanted it.

Have you ever heard of the OZB community before?

Are you saying you would think it is ok to buy 5 of these watches for 88 dollars and it wouldnt annoy you if you wanted one?

And I called them losers because they believe they can get up to $200 for one.

        • @smashed:

          ps: thanks for the neg

        • +3

          @smashed:

No, I am saying they have bought something on Ebay to resell on Ebay rather than letting somebody else on OZB / Ebay have it that bargain price who actually wanted it.

WTF! So now you're claiming that no-one should buy from eBay to resell at a profit! Sheesh.

Have you ever heard of the OZB community before?

I've put huge amounts of work and effort into deals I've posted before including spending days driving around Brisbane for the Masters closing down deals. What have you done?

Are you saying you would think it is ok to buy 5 of these watches for 88 dollars and it wouldnt annoy you if you wanted one?

I don't care how many are purchased, I wanted one and I missed out. That's life, I don't care if they're reselling them but at least that gives me a chance to get one cheaper. You're whining like a spoilt little brat.

        • +1

          @smashed:

It's buy and sell mate, one of the oldest gigs in the world.

        • @Maverick-au:

You just said.. "I don't care how many are purchased, I wanted one and I missed out. That's life, I don't care if they're reselling them but at least that gives me a chance to get one cheaper. You need to grow up and realise that no-one owes you anything."

Did you actually just tell me that by them buying it instead of you..and by them reselling it at 4X the price it actually gives you the chance to buy it cheaper?

          Seriously..

        • +5

@Maverick-au: when did @smashed say anyone owed him anything? @smashed is just annoyed that this website is used to put money in peoples pocket(i am pretty sure is allowed to feel that way!?) . I am pretty sure this is a community forum to share the love of bargains, not for people to earn money.

        • +2

          @Bamboozle:

          Yes it is.

I seriously cannot believe that somebody is calling me out for being against Broden on OZB..

          Wow (not you BTW).

          Ciao

        • @Maverick-au:
ps: Only just read the rest of this..

I suspect that sellers list at $1888 so that nobody buys because they have temporarily run out of stock.

I work in IT, I am not a seller of electronic goods.

        • @smashed:

Did you actually just tell me that by them buying it instead of you..and by them reselling it at 4X the price it actually gives you the chance to buy it cheaper?

The regular price is around $150-200. These sold out in a short time and if people are reselling them they are for around $100-125. Make them an offer and you'll probably get one for $75. So yes it is cheaper then the regular price. I didn't get one because I didn't see the deal in time.

How many purchased because it was cheap and will never use it and it'll gather dust before being sold on eBay in a year's time? Surely these people are no better in your eyes then those buying to resell?

I've purchased heaps of things from OzBargain and never used before selling it or giving it away and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

        • @Maverick-au:

I get buying one and not liking it so you sell it as new but opened etc.

          You def don't buy 5

        • @rayzies:

@smashed is just annoyed that this website is used to put money in peoples pocket

So what about Scotty and the others that make a living from this website?

And who said that they found out about this deal from this website? Talk about immaturity from some people.

I am pretty sure this is a community forum to share the love of bargains, not for people to earn money.

So what about the companies that advertise and post their products on here? Are they allowed to make money? Should we confirm they didn't get their stock from eBay or AliExpress before they post?

        • @smashed:

          You def don't buy 5

Why not? I've purchased multiple quantities of items before for presents or other people. Is this not allowed in your eyes?

        • @Maverick-au: t immaturity!?!? "check yourself before you wreck yourself!"

        • @Maverick-au:

You bought 5 for presents but then listed them all on Ebay straight away?

I will agree to disagree :) Not wasting any more time on this :) No point for either of us.

        • @smashed:

You bought 5 for presents but then listed them all on Ebay straight away?

Five of what? I said I've purchased multiple quantities before for others or presents and sometimes end up selling any extras (depending on value) because they already have one, didn't want it or I found something better for a present.

I will agree to disagree :) Not wasting any more time on this :) No point for either of us.

People buy and sell all the time, I could care less about it and worrying about it is pointless. If I get a bargain I get a bargain, most of the items I but on here are an impulse buy and often I end up being rid of it one way or the other. Like the Xiaomi pens, why do I buy so many when I already have plenty of pens and use a smartpen.

        • @Maverick-au:

"So what about the companies that advertise and post their products on here? Are they allowed to make money? Should we confirm they didn't get their stock from eBay or AliExpress before they post?"

Are you missing the point on purpose?
Seems Smashed is venting about a problem that cant really be easily addressed, seems like a fair vent, no biggie.
To me it seems you are just nitpicking and or being very narrow minded in a discussion that should be on the forums

        • @ninjutsu:

Are you missing the point on purpose?

No I'm not. OzBargain is not the entry to the internet like some people seem to think. Deals can be found by many other methods not just OzBargain so the point is that either you want to live in a society where people are free to make money and buy and sell what they want or you want to restrict everything. You can't have it both ways.

Seems Smashed is venting about a problem that cant really be easily addressed, seems like a fair vent, no biggie.

Not only can't it be addressed it shouldn't be addressed!

To me it seems you are just nitpicking and or being very narrow minded in a discussion that should be on the forums

This so called issue has nothing to do with OzBargain. Not to mention that he is only looking at one tiny aspect and is ok with people making money everywhere else (including himself and his employer) but doesn't want people to make money or to buy more then one item when he wants something.

        • @Bamboozle:
Yep that pretty much the basis of all retail

  • +1

    WTF the W1 deal didn't stand a chance…

  • +1

fk u ozbargain..keep making me spend!!!.. just bought the 360, and watch a review and check the price and go to ebay via cashreward website within 1 min….

  • +3

    Broden strikes again :(

  • Holy cow batman.

W1 watch for free!!!! That's a bargain and a half.

How many seconds/minutes did it take to sell out?

W1 deal is a great deal. Hope who ever bought it gets it and it is not an error. I bought one last year for a little over $300.

  • Anyone have any opinion on the LG Urbane? It's at $180
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/LG-Urbane-Wifi-BlueTooth-Smartwat…

    • you better buy first before ask :D
      8 available / 1,037 sold

      • you better buy first before ask :D
        8 available / 1,037 sold

No need, they have barely sold any this year and even at $180 it's overpriced.

    • I've had mine for over a year and love it, wear it every day. The original black leather band is starting to wear down and I've given the metal from a couple of scratches. Still gets compliments all the time! Also has new version of Android Wear. Only warning would be it's a big watch, looks normal on me but I have rather wide wrists, if you have small wrists it might look a little silly.

  • Thanks OP, been looking at a 360 cam and at a price like this it seems a low risk option. Cheaper than the deals I've seen on Amazon US recently.

    • and as of yesterday, people are selling 2nd hand for $220-250-300
      yeah keep dreaming!

  • Gonna watch this watch on ebay in case it comes back in stock.
