  • Aus stock but shipped from hk/sold by kogan hk?…

  • Does it comes with 24 months AU Samsung warranty?

    • +1

      I purchased it last month and called Samsung to verify. Yes, it comes with 2 years Australian warranty.

      • if this, why no gst on receipt?

      • Have you received a sealed box from Kogan HK?

        • Nope, broken seal.

          @ronnknee:
          I am tempted, I mean the price is excellent, but I really have trouble believing reasons like "we need to check the functions" or such things with brand new Samsung products. Surely the loss of newness cannot be worth their adding their own unnecessary quality control to Samsung's own. It makes me wonder if there are other factors at play,
          Basically the open box puts me off.

        • @King Tightarse:

          Yea I know what you mean. That caught me by surprise and I raised an issue with them. My mum's been using the phone for a few weeks now and it seems fine.

          This isn't limited to just Samsung phones; just phones from Kogan in general. If you search on Google, there's been many people experiencing the same thing.

          @ronnknee:
          Yes, I wonder what they are up to with that.
          It would be an instant PayPal return for anyone who felt like doing it (not as described).
          Anyway, I am glad your Mums one is OK :)

    Good deal but if it came with a broken seal - no way.
    That is not new in my book

    Does not have genuine Samsung Australia Warrenty

    Don't see how it's possible to be supplied from HK then have Australian Samsung Warrenty…. Basically if theres no Aussie stock tick on the back Samsung Australia won't touch the phone and tell you send back to place of import

    Futhermore it's in there description;

    Warranty Terms and Conditions

    This product is BRAND NEW and comes with a 12 month Australia wide warranty. In the unlikely event that you require a warranty repair, we will collect your item, repair or replace it, then return it you at no charge. It is a requirement of warranty that you keep the original packaging for transportation

    • That's just the standard template they use for their eBay listings, which the Kogan warranty is applicable to 99% of their listings.

      If you look at the product page on the website for this item, it specifically says 24 months Samsung Australian warranty.

      Don't see how it's possible to be supplied from HK then have Australian Samsung Warrenty…. Basically if theres no Aussie stock tick on the back

      Have an open mind. Here's a photo of the phone and invoice which shows that it's possible. Personal and unnecessary identifiable details blacked out.

      • Why no GST component?

        Edit: Sorry I just saw your description.

      • Did your phone come with network branding?

        Was it shipped from Hong Kong or Australia?

      • Fe tho open box makes me question if it's a refurbishment

  • A bit deceiving. Why can't they put the description clearly if local stock ?

  • Just to clarify, is it shipped from Hong Kong or Australia?

    • Hong Kong.

  • I bought S7 Edge during previous eBay 15% off sale. Not able too find a glass screen protector. Tried couple but they don’t stick to the screen properly. Please let me know if someone finds a good screen protector for S7e. Thanks.
