Oh thank goodness! 10% is good but 15% is better ;) Anyone know if there'll be another 15% today or tomorrow? I've got something in my cart and was hoping for another sitewide deal :) Oh, is this targeted? Looks like it :(

    • +2

      Should be Wednesday :D

      • +6

please make it 20% praying hard tonight!

      • And then Saturday

        • +1

          Saturday is past EOFY.

        • +9

Yeah but they're not actually EOFY sales, they're "don't forget about us when Amazon arrives" sales.

        • @Putnum: how do you know what they're about?

        • +3

          @wxyz234: how don't you?

      • +1

That would overlap with this 10% off. Who would use a 10% code when a 15% code is active at the same time?

    • +1

Hmmm, I keep getting "Looks like that's the wrong code. Please double-check and try again." Have tried a few things. Might check back and try again later…

EDIT: Ahh, definitely targeted. Cheers for the update! Here's hoping for a 15% deal today or tomorrow….

  • +40

10% targeted after having 15% on the weekend, what's the point? Cmon eBay give us 20%!

    • +3

The point is that the 15% has expired already. So without this code there is no discount at all.

      • +1

Like there wont be another 15% off and people who were going to buy something haven't when they have had many chances to do so at 15% off.

        • ^ What wxyz said

      • What about C5OZ?

  • +6

I wish they would increase the $300 limit..

    • What are you buying? ;)

      • +4

        Expensive camera for 6K

      • i would need the $300 lifted before i buy a big ticket item.. I've got 3 items in my watch list with value +$3500 i'm waiting for a better discount

        • Same. Had a chance when the cap was $600 for 2 hours a few weeks back, but TGG jacked the price of all their stuff just before it started. Out of principle, I refused to buy. If they drop it back down at the same time a $600 cap 15% off is on, I'll buy.

        • @lostn:
Don't know why folks downvoted you.
I agree, stuff them upon principle alone!

  • +13

    Pro tip

Don't bite on this one folks a 15% off site wide on eBay will occur as much as the sun rises

  • No more 15% off….!!! ! Orz…

  • +3

    Discount going backward toward EOFY?

    • +3

Ebay would be the ultimate troll if they do this. Imagine ozbargainers reaction to a 5% sale Wednesday

      • Or 20% off, max $50

        • +1

          50% off, max $20.

Who am I kidding, we'd all still use it.

  • +19

Just wanted to mention Amazon before someone else does.

    • +2

Seems like the new Trigger word around here

    • +10

I'm waiting for Ebay to have a code word of "AMAZON" for 20% off site wide.

    • +1

When are they actually confirmed to launch?

  • -3

You'd have to be a pretty stupid seller if you haven't increased all your prices by 10% with these codes coming out every 2nd day.

    • +8

      Hi Harvey

    • +2

      Go away Geriatric Gerry.

  • I need 20%!

  • Would love 20% and no $300 cap. I have my eye on a monitor, but not purchasing until it drops significantly.

  • can we use cash rewards as well?

  • +1

    10% is so yesterday

    • +5

Actually 10% is so today and 15% is so yesterday but then retro seems to be the new tomorrow so not sure where that leaves us?

      • +2

  • +4

Who would ever pay full price on eBay again after all these sales?

    • +1

Man, I was watching a GTX 1070 from futu_online (ebay store).
It went from $600ish to $800 once these deals started :(

      • +1

They've gone up everywhere due to mining boom past 2weeks

        • +2

So wait for the crash and the second-hand market will be flooded with them, still under the 3-year warranty?

Edit: Screw it, I just picked up a premium GTX1060 which I can OC instead.

        • You wouldn't want to get a second hand card which has been thrashed mining.

        • @Clinton: With 3-year warranties though; as long as they haven't flashed the bios (I know they do this with AMD cards), you'd be able to return it if it fails.
I know this caused issues for AMD 2-3 years ago when gamers bought second-hand mining cards and AMD had massive warranty claim figures from these gamers lol.

The recent AMD stock price rises will be bad long-term imo.

        • Probably still wouldn't risk it tbh since a lot of people will be using cards for a few years down the line and not just 1-2. Also guessing a lot of sellers won’t be handing their receipt with like multiple cards on it.
AMD’s stock rise is probably more to do with the increased CPU market share I’d say and their success of Ryzen. Unsure however if when the RMA’s occur they’d be out of pocket or the graphics card vendors like asus/msi/sapphire etc.

      • Was watching multiple headphones (Sony/Bose/Sennheiser), all magically increased by the discount percentage. Digi_direct ebay store didn't waste a second to put up prices across his store. Greedy B**tards!!

        • Yeah, it was almost exactly by the discount percentage.
          Something like $640 -> $800

    • I buy mis-priced items all the time, even without coupons

  • Damn, was hoping for 20%!!!

  • -5

A 10-listings free promo has also been recently sent to targeted users starting from tomorrow…

My suggestion would be to use the 10-free listings code if offered and then sell a phantom item to a friend for $3000…

Total profit after Paypal fees is $225.

A lot of people will neg this but its not illegal, so why not get an extra $225.

    • -2

I did this when there was 15% off between my 3 accounts which all had 3 free listings. Easiest money made :)

    • I don't understand. If you sold and item to your friend how'd you be making money?

    • people used to do this for velocity points and local-pickup for cash lol

  • +3

Just wait for the 20% on Wed

    • How do you know???

  • +1

I got it but it's not worth using considering there'll be at least 15% guaranteed on Wednesday..

  • +1

    lol

  • +2

So excited as this is the first time I've received a target offer from Ebay, even though it just had 15% off code for everyone.

    • Looks like you are one of the suckers like the rest of us who bought from previous 78 eBay promotions.
They want you to spend more.

  • -1

75 min spend, 10 percent off, was 15 on weekend, so 75+10+15 = 100%. 20% off on Wednesday confirmed 👌

    • +1

      So if I wait, then 100+20 = 120% off?

  • wow, just got this targeted 10% off code + 10 free listings (FVF & subtitles free as well) in my main account - that never happens!

Although I'm certain there's gonna be a 20% off code (or equivalent, eg. $20 off $100, $40 off 200) by the end of this week.

  • -1

its not target, it's for everyone i belive for 10% off

    • +1

As far as I know everyone can shop @ Target also.

  • +3

    its a trap.

  • This is getting a bit ludicrous. I mean yeh its good, but why are eBay going all out on their discounts?

    • eBay are trying to lure more shoppers with steep discounts and more sellers to rely on their platform instead of their own store-fronts… gradually they raise fees…

      • eBay are trying to lure more shoppers with steep discounts and more sellers to rely on their platform instead of their own store-fronts AMAZON…

  • -1

what's actual odds of another 15 to 20% store wide though before EOM.. I am taking a risk waiting. but some people are talking like it's fact, so not sure what to do.

  • T&Cs state:
This offer commences at 10.00 (AEST) on 26 June 2017 and ends at 23.59 (AEST) on 30 June 2017 (“Offer Period”).

so, this 10% discount, will finish at the end of the month, meaning it could be the last offer from eBay already and they probably won't have concurrent coupons (i.e. 10% and 15% coupons), even if they did before (e.g. C10OZ)

i'm sure the eBay staff read these forums, so they know how we all feel and they see their statistics of what works and what doesn't, to lure buyers back.

    • they have had 15% and 10% at the same time.

  • The exclusions aren't applying to this voucher.

  • Seriously the slowest ebay post to reach the top deals in last couple weeks.

I didn't even bother click on related tab or read on when I see 10%

    • +1

And yet you are here posting a comment. :P

  • +2

Hey guys I don't need my code you can have it

    CODE: TREAT

  • Check my ebay acct and last bought a Xiaomi Powerbank on 6/6 from Shopping Square with the 20% off code. Problem is I already have 2 Xiaomi Powerbanks at home and really can't find anything worth buying with 15% or 10% off sale. May buy something if it is 20% off sitewide and not one of those dodgy 20% sales from few sellers.

  • Any site-wide codes going at the moment which aren't targetted?
    Even 5%?
I broke my phone and want an XZ premium lol. Wish it happened yesterday instead of today.

    • +1

C5OZ code is non targeted and 5% off, most would probably hold out for a non targeted 15% off code though.

  • Sony XZ Premium $1020 with CTAX20 for 20% off Today only, Considering it myself

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Brand-New-Sony-Xperia-XZ-Premium-…

    • Thanks, just pulled the trigger on it (with cashrewards hopefully)

    • And as I suspected, it's now $891 lol.
I guess the seller and I split the CTAX20 between us.

  • -1

    10% off, who cares, whatever
    Being getting spoilt lately.

  • Wait until Wednesday and see anymore.

  • Is it possible to stack or use more than one coupon code with these kinds of Ebay deals? I missed the MobileCiti Iphone SE32gb $444 deal 2 days ago that was 15% discounted by a cuppla minutes, and 10% off doesn't quite trigger my totalscab threshold to buy! :-D

  • +1

15% was posted on ozb within last hour, now gone?

    • I saw that too.. but I only saw the removed post. Interesting. Did you see the post? Was it sitewide starting tomorrow?

      • just had 'more details soon' no dates/times

        • Cool, on the eBay site it says the next deal starts in 1day and 5hours.. but it doesn't say what it is. Hoping its 15% or 20% off otherwise I am just going into the shop on Thursday night to buy all the items I need.

        • +1

@oison: Yeah I am hanging out for the 15% at least.

        • @oison: I changed 'treat' to 'crazy' in the URL, and voilà! https://pages2.ebay.com.au/Buyer_coupons/crazy

        • @banzini:
          Legend, cheers.
Edit: Tried it and it didn't work.

        • @oison: interesting, maybe we will see them activate it soon

        • @banzini:
Yes I think so because when I put the code in it says "Looks like this code isn't ready yet. Please try again later.". Where if you put in a random word it says "Looks like that's the wrong code. Please double-check and try again.".
Maybe it will be activated tomorrow night. I will keep my eye out. Thanks.

        • @oison: i'd say tonight 5pm, it will be! They just want the 10% to be hammered until then.

        • @banzini: 5pm came and went…
