  • Free returns is pretty cool.

    Does it matter if you've worn the item for a few days?

    • or a few years?

      • +21

        This is bonds. They wont last a few years.

        • +4

          Is this a common opinion on Bonds items? I've had some seriously good mileage out of mine…

          @niters:

          All the stuff I've bought in the last few years has been real low quality. The elastic craps out in no time, track pants are thin enough to see through.

        • +4

          @Stevesie76: maybe you're buying returns

        • @niters:
          Actually my comment was more of a joke. I have some of their older boxer briefs which have torn after a few years of use. Their newer undies seem to last a little longer.

          I've also got a few of those reglan Tees which are a few years old and are ok (one or two have holes where the arm pits are).

          All in all, pretty good value. Just wondering if there are any cheaper options.

          @datzed: Thanks for your honesty and follow up :)

          re "Just wondering if there are any cheaper options"

          I have been wondering this too. Gildan, Fruit of the Loom etc?? Can anybody advise?

        • @Stevesie76: You bought Bonds lingerie by mistake.

        • @muncan:

          Gah I hope not. Thanks for the mental images.

          @Stevesie76: you're most welcome!

      Wear the daks 4 days/4 ways then return? Saves washing!

  • Does a cheaper Reglan V-beck Tee-Shirt exist anywhere else? Anyone?

      The Kathmandu of jocks

    • Well some people still buying full priced items

    • Sometimes they do 50% off. Also at outlets they always have additional offers off the outlet price.

    • Must be ran by the same marketing team as Oroton.

    My wife bought some undies on Saturday at the bonds shop. They were all on sale for $9. I see the 40% off they are now $8.97. Three cents cheaper is not much of a deal.

    • +17

      I'll buy her undies if you want to get these?

      • +5

        This isn't a Japanese vending machine :)

    Is this 40% off offer in actual local Bonds Stores as well or only for online shopping?

    • Offer ends online at 11:59pm AEST 26/06/2017 and in stores close of business 26/06/2017.

      Just added.

    This is no deal. They are usually always 40% off

    • +1

      Usually or always?.

    • +2

      Username doesn't check out.

  • Stopped buying Bonds.

    Briefs last about 4-6 months and after a few wears, their trackies get very thin.

    Rubbish quality.

  • +5

    their RRP should be the sale price and 40% sale then the price is real.

    I bought some white vests, in a medium, washed them and they came out a tiny; they stretched out a little but still 2 sizes too small. Whereas the original bonds I got > 5 years ago would go lose after a couple months.

    Marks and Spencer vest, same size after washed, 1/2 the price… except now they have an Oz shop which sucks ass, whereas before they shipped from UK.

    Don't buy Bonds it's either power quality Bangladeshi sweatshop or Chinese automated with bad quality material.

  • +1

    What would be a good alternative to Bonds? I agree their briefs which I've been buying for years don't last. The elastic wears out and eventually material starts to rip

    • Isn't that true for a lot of lower priced items?

      I just go full cheapie and buy new clothes every year.

      Clearance rack at Kmart, Target and Best and Less. Last deal was cargo shorts for $3 bought 3 should last me two years.
