Agreed but you can just buy an ir remote that plugs into headphone jack off eBay for a dollar that does the job . (Haven't tried it myself yet)

guys..can you please help decide lg g6 vs galaxy s7 vs s7 edge? Which camera is better? I know gsmarena has a comparison tool but I cant make up my mind. On gsmarena, s7 edge camera looked better than g6. many thanks
The S7 has a slightly better camera in my opinion. But the G6 has greater utility with it's wide-angle lens and will probably see software support for a bit longer. Probably.

I have the same model for my existing phone (Xiaomi Mi5).
Does this case have a hard texture instead of a gel-like texture - so that it will slide in and out of pockets easily? Any views on this vs the Spigen Rugged Armor mentioned above?
It is a gel like texture but not sticky. Not sure about the Spigen case

I am so happy still with my G5 that I am actually resisting this.
I took the G5 on a trip to hawaii recently, and the combination of the two rear cameras got so many nice pictures to bring home.

Got a refund instead of a replacement. I bought another one from the last 15% off sale, ended up paying about $100 less than the previous time.

Received mine today. Seal broken.
Why would this happen? Why do they have to open it? As far as I can tell, everything is in order but the plastic wrapping around the phone had been removed.
It says not to accept if seal broken, but it was delivered to work and signed for at the security desk.
There's no plastic wrapping around the phone, there is a screen protector though.
I meant the plastic sleeve brand new untouched phones come in.
Mine also delivered yesterday. Sealed. Delivered with AU adaptor for the quick charger. (Also with headphones, which I'm not used to getting headphones included these days). Now waiting for my case and glass screen protector to arrive before starting to use.

Mate, if your so upset about the seal being broken contact the seller and ask for a replacement unit or refund if you send your phone back.
I'm not upset - just peeved. Paid for a 'Brand New' device and received one that had been opened and used. Wouldn't that annoy you?
I'd only return it should there have been damage or issues with the phone.

Also, those that bought a tempered glass screen protector - any thoughts on having to remove the factory applied film before applying the glass screen protector?

I'll be taking that off - it is basically the factory packaging. Screen protectors are designed to go on a screen, rather than on a screen protector.

Help please, how do i get the app drawer? Apparently i should be able to select it under home screen settings but the option isnt showing up. Will use nova launcher otherwise but can't understand why it wouldn't be there.
Mine also came with no plastic wrap, seal intact and screen protector which seems to be glass. Have left on anyway, nice bonus. The phone is a tiny bit heavier that i expected, otherwise good so far.Nb updating to say i have figured out why the app drawer option was missing - you need to go to app updates and download the home screen update then it will appear.
Btw mine did not have an AU adapter. Did anyone else get one? Was it in the box or separate?

Received mine a couple of days ago. Have just set it up and main camera will not focus (In auto mode or manual mode). Wide angle lense focuses okay. Anyone else had this problem?
Looks like I have to return it :(Haven't noticed that problem - but you may have touched something accidentally. I couldn't get video on the main camera - then realised it was set to manual - when I changed it to auto I had the video option. The picture in the manual answered that question - sideways.
Anyone happen to know when Ebay will have another sale like this? Holding out for the price drop to get this, this phone looks incredible!
