  • Don't these require an ABN ?

  • Still can't register individual names right like .com? ie. subject to same 'must be a business name' requirements?

    • Correct you need an ABN or need to meet other eligibility criteria.

  • 25 cents a year (0.068 cents a day) better than the opposition's standard price?

    http://www.zuver.net.au/domain-names

Can't you do any better than that?

    No deal.

    • Can't you do any better than that?

Not really if they want to also make money. Wholesale pricing on all .au domain names are $19.25 AUD https://www.auda.org.au/industry-information/registrars/regiā€¦ However they're not directly accredited so they use a wholesale provider who takes their cut.

You'll have to take it from me but I believe they're making a reasonable Mount of profit and it ain't much and that then has to cover support and other costs.

Wow. Normal price $50 for 2 years. Will stick with Zuver @$11 per year where it's the normal price and won't get stung with a renewal more than twice the going rate in order to save 25c

    • Renewal price will stay the same.

      • As it has with Zuver for the last few years now.

        I repeat, no deal.

        • Zuver is $11/year, we are offering $10.75

        • @ans-steve: Stop the presses!

        • @Boodek: Can't help it ;)

        • @ans-steve:

          HOLY YES 25 CENTS SAVING!!!!!!!!!!!!

@tuzii: A bargain is a bargain, no matter how small the saving is.

        • @tuzii: Also, MelbIT is still charging $153.99 for 2 years!

What's your point? Maseratis start at 150k, but that's totally irrelevant when deciding if the price of Kia Picanto is good value.

GoDaddy is cheaper. Title is misleading, the price is $21.50 for 2 years as .com.au domains can only be register for 2 years. The 1 year price is unobtainable.

The description already says: "Please note .com.au domain names require a minimum of 2 years registration."
Also the title says: ".com.au Domain Names for $10.75 Per Year", not ".com.au Domain Names for $10.75".
Another thing you should have mentioned is that Godaddy always increase the price on renewals. Our offer is recurring.

How many times do you want to edit the comment? You haven't dealt with the substantive issue, the title is misleading. There is no way of registering the domain today for 1, 3, 10 or 20 years. The only option is to pay $21.50 and get it for 2 years.
