      Loss leader is exactly what it is, you're selling the product at a low price and bundling shipping in the hopes people will assume they're saving money by buying other objects - it's nothing to be ashamed of as it's a perfectly legitimate marketing promotion.

          @jaykho: Probably beacause of your [removed] first comment; "why leave negative feed back go to ebay".

          Customer service may officially be dead, but do yourself a favour, spend your $500 gross on a ticket to Japan, observe the level of customer service they provide to their customers and then come back to Australia and do the same.

          Here's what I suggest a rep who had done that would say, capitalisation and punctuation included;
          "Sorry guys, we had only 100 in stock. I would have loved to fill all orders but it wasn't to be. Keep an eye out for some more great specials coming soon and to compensate, I'll make sure I kick in a discount especially for OzBargainers."

          It's not rocket science, surely.

            @Daabido: Hi mate. You do have some valid points, so how about this. For all OzBargainers who make a purchase above $50 during this sale I will credit their account with $8.00 back for the shipping. All they have to do is post a request right here under this comment. With their user name. What do you think about that? I still stand by my earlier comment about people being a bit uptight, that's just my opinion.

  And inb4racist comments - learn English. If you aren't that proficient with the language, don't try to translate phrases directly as evidenced above.

      I do not mean to sound rude, but this is a point to be noted Jaykho. If you are attempting to represent a company, I have to say you are doing poorly. You are completely unprofessional and giving your site a very bad image. Who is going to buy from a site who's representative is an amateur? You should learn to be polite and apologetic rather than dismissive and defensive. I guarantee you have lost an incredible amount of business through your displayed attitude.

  Oh, by the way, I was working in Japan for three months last year, and I never saw that style of chopping board. I suspect it is bullshit, based on the little legs underneath being a vague reference to a traditional Japanese wooden sandal, thus some how "Japanesey". Kind of like an Indonesian boomerang souvenir, I.E. not real.
