  • All Bottles are accompanied with a unique gift tube.

    Hmm, not actually unique then.

  • someone actually bought one lol was it JV?

  • +1

I have my man pressure wash the Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita with this stuff.

  • Some serious food miles on this one

  • 87 Upvotes but only 1 bottle sold…

  • Whats the alcohol volume ?

    • 0.0% by volume.

  • Excellent. I was thinking of visiting Svalbard next year. Now I don't have to, especially I don't have to risk my life from polar bears whilst drinking water off icebergs …

  • Where can I find the bottled water from Rivendell?

  • freshly carved off glaciers in the remote polar region of Svalbard archipelago, 1,000 kilometres from the North Pole

I wonder if Santa knows anything about that?

.. but in all seriousness, this shit is tap water probably filtered 600 times and probably has a TDS of <100

  • Now how do I know it's not some water from household tap at Mt Druitt and repackaged as iceberg water?

  • What is the alcohol content again???
I pay around $40 for 40% whisky so this better be $85

    • If you go to chemist and pay 100 bucks you get 100% alcohol.

      • ummm…. tell me which pharmacy this is. This would be the OzBargain (meth lab edition) bargain of the year.

      • Manildra Group produces 100% ethanol for under $1 per litre. It's mixed into E10 fuel. Alcohol is very cheap. It's only the taxes, marketing, and retailing (in that order) which makes it expensive.

        • Alcohol is cheap but pure 100% ethanol is not because of water and methanol content. Getting from high 90s to 100% has a significant cost factor.

        • @tshow: Methanol is easily removed through fractional distillation. Water cannot be removed through distillation past about 95% ethanol content, but is removed using molecular sieves. These are expensive to buy but are dried and reused. Ethanol for mixing with petrol has its water removed.

Seriously, if you've never tried it, do not put it down.

Some people critique wine, some can go on and on about olive oil, and some people can even eat fermented milk. Why give this line of product so much flak?

I'm sure there are many products out there that are much worse in the way of "marketing" but once in a while, something truly special gets overlooked because of mob mentality. Give this bottle a try then at least your comments here will not be ignorant and dismissive.

(I'm sure as hell not paying more than 85c for a bottle that's for f-ing sure. Just wanna see if anyone actually buys this.)

  • I'm looking forward to the day someone collects water ice from craters on the moon and brings it back to Earth. Study it? Fsck that! Sell it for $1 million per bottle. I'm sure they'd sell.

  • No deal. I can get iceberg water from greenland for only $20 per litre. This iceberg water is served by a real life water sommelier!

I must admit my curiosity is certainly piqued at how this would actually taste. We should have a donation thingy so someone can buy it for shits and giggles then send pictures and write a review.

  • how many sold

  • I shall be in Svalbard for New Year. Norway is so expensive that I fear that price is standard for bottled water.

I'd offer to fill up a couple of empties, but alas, it shall be in the middle of the endless darkness of 'polar night', and I'm sure I won't be able to tell if I'm chipping off a glacier, or off a polar bear's kneecap.

  • you guys think this is ridiculous, look up GQ most expensivest shvt on youtube and watch the one with the super pretentious water "sommelier". iirc it was something like 200k for a bottle of water. absolute ridiuclousness.

  • I bought ten earlier
But then realised how good a deal this was and bought the whole crate

    Thanks!

  • Seems fitting for this

Technically this isn't booze so that $30 off shouldn't even apply to this 'deal'..lol

I think there is a market out there for Antarctic ice water as opposed to the common artic stuff.

  • Thanks OP! Got three! Does any one know what % alcohol this is?

    • The deal has expired

  • Thanks OP!
