  Could a 1050 handle the likes of LoL and Overwatch at 4k?

    Not at 4K no - I have this model and play Diablo III at 2560x1440, with most effects on high. Runs pretty smoothly for the most part, dropping a few frames in certain areas.

    As long as you're playing at a resolution that is divisible of 4K, it will still look great!

    Good frame rates in 4K are still a little bit like a unicorn. It's not going to happen on a consumer laptop for some time. On a Desktop it is possible (if you got some deep pockets) but if you want to do some light gaming and are happy to lower the resolution this is a great option as it doesn't look like a gamer laptop either.

  Lowest price I've seen on it from memory - such a shame, I picked one up a month ago for around $2.5k on sale.
  Great unit. I went from a Surface Pro 4 and noticed the screen wasn't QUITE as vibrant or bright, but the 4K resolution is hard to go back from after you've used it for a while.
