I got it for $18 in harvey Norman boxing day sales in 2014. That's the lowest it's ever been.

I got for $19 from DSE

  • Can I use Aldi sim in this mobile since Aldi also use Telstra network?

    • The Aldi SIM I have isn't useable in this phone or any other Telstra mobile phone I have.

    • My son uses an aldi sim in this exact phone. Didn't need to unlock phone. Originally discovered this on whirlpool thread.

Shite phone but only used for emergency when on public transport. No one will ever roll him for this mobile.

you cannot update the os on this phone, that's annoying for most users… for a pro-user looking for something to flash, root and rim rom it's perfect!

Yes it's stuck on Android KitKat. There's no newer Android update. It's only about a 4 year old Android version.

      • as a cheap device with a good size screen i find it handy for viewing remote security cam's, downloading from wifi's, running security and pen' routines. It's hard to beat at that price…

        • You could also use it to be a remote security cam. Just install the free app, and it's a camera with wifi and battery backup.

        • @manic: yer, neahhh, the cam is really crappy, you;; get a view but it won't be worth anything as proof or evidence…. a much better use of this is for viewing cams wanderng around adjusting focus and point…the battery in mine crapped itself after 10 months of light use, i may have used and incorrect charger if that was possible…

        • @robertbruce:
          ok, crappy camera no surprise.

Phone "chargers" are really just 5V power supplies, and the charging smarts are in the phone.

It does have a feature that is handy for some people, under Settings then scroll to System, there is item called "Scheduled power on & off", there are 2 timers. This is like a non smart phone (ie feature phone). The other Android phones I have don't have this feature (silence etc but not off). To unlock the phone you have to do a long press instead of a swipe.

  • Is it capable of running Pokemon Go?

  • Anyway to unlock
