My experience too with Pendo is that it's rubbish as well. Had a windows 8.1 tablet that failed on me, and had to send one of these two in ones back to them as well cos the keyboard connection was faulty. Good on them for refunding the full amount but from what others have said too, it's dodgy brand.

Their trick is to constantly change their name from Pendo back to ProTab back to Neos (which in itself was an old name from years back)

good thing is that it has 4gb

bad stuff is that its only 1,200 x 800 and is a pendo so expect world class lack of quality

  • Purchased one just before end if the financial year for work, so far no issues. Works exactly as you'd want it to

So it has lasted a whole month? Not bad :)

  • Is it locked down at all? Might be an interesting Linux box.

    • There's no reason it would be locked down. But you'll likely find things like touchscreen, power management and wifi not working.

Can you expand the ROM or are you stuck with 32GB?

    • look at it

everything is single board so no upgrades however i expect there's a free micro sd slot…

      • Yeah i understand that but can you install apps on the micro SD card or is it limited to onboard only?

        • windows has always had the ability to install apps on external sources since… like windows 3.0 what 30yrs ago…

          unlike other operating systems

  • Tempted! The 360deg hinge + touchscreen + microSD slot, I like.
Was after a dedicated device to reading online magazines & cookbooks.

Will drop into Hardly Normal today to play with one.
