Cheap G-Series prime lens if you own or planning to own a full frame setup… Not probably the cheapest ever, but looks pretty good at this price from Aussie brick n mortar store with local warranty. It's actually cheaper than some grey imports currently (e.g., DWI etc.)

    IMO 50's are too long for general use on a DX camera, better off sticking to the 35mm 1.8G

  Yes, better to go with the 35mm if you want a decent prime on a DX camera.
