Friend, your better off avoiding sugars and carbs. Sugar mainly and carbs secondly if your trying to induce ketosis. Fat will raise your cholesterol but not your actual body fat. On the same note salt intake is related to blood pressure so should be had in moderation.

          i shall not eat

        • @rasserie: perhaps you will If we add 'ot' after the first letter in your name.

Is this from the current catalogue that will end tomorrow night, or it's ongoing?

  • Are these the same as the Coles Smiths ones?

    • +3

You thinking of Oporto Thins? These are thick and crinkle cut.

      • +1

How funny - yes. Lack of sleep. All good - thanks…

  • Is it 12 packets of 150g chips? Or am I just reading it wrong?

    • just a typo on the page, the store is selling a single bag for $1.89

  • +1

Remind me of Ruffles as the crinkle Cut is so tight together ;)

    • +1

Would kill for a packet of ruffles right now.

      • Can still get them at Costco

        • But I'm trying to lose weight

          :O

      • Me tooo

    • Did you mention So Tight? (Wink Wink)

      • Hahahah I like them tight

Worst chips ever. I just love Kettle Chilly.

    • When I first had them they burned. Now they just taste nice. Wish they made various intensities so i can keep the burn happening.

      • +1

Yup. Sometimes I pour more chilly power on them and it tastes great with beer ;)

        • Ha. First time i had them was with beers. Its a great combo.

  • Are they made in Aus?

  • Better than Tyrell?

    • +4

These are hard and very oily. I don't like them personally.

Tyrell are good but they got rid of most of the flavours. The ones I liked are gone, and you now have sea salt, cider vinegar, and like mature cheddar? Never bought them again after they ditched the flavours I actually like.

      • +1

        What good flavours were ditched?

        • +1

sea salt and cracked pepper, bbq, sweet chilli and cracked pepper, a few others.

There were like 9 flavors, now down to 3.

        • +1

@lostn: I like Tyrrell's salt and vinegar but their sweet chilli and pepper was the best. And my Coles stopped stocking Natural Chip Company Salt & Pepper which was another favourite.

        • @lostn:
Reading them just now made me miss thm all again.

        • @lostn:

Jeez, why did they get rid of the cracked pepper one, that was the best flavour!!

    • +1

      Not after today's episode.

      • +1

I would think anything's better than Tyrell after today's episode!

        • +1

The chips are actually Tyrrel not Tyrell.

        • +2

          @lostn:

I think he's been watching too much game of thrones

  • I've never seen these before. I'm in Melb. Is this sold nation wide?

Oh wait, it's just new packaging. I thought they were frozen chips. Rats.

    • You can buy Nando's salt in the supermarket for your frozen chips.

      • I know. I don't think it's the same though. It's darker than the salt Nandos uses.

  • I hope they changed the chips now that they've changed the packaging, when Nando's bought out these chips in supermarkets I was hyped but they are disgusting, I tried two flavours and threw out half the packet.

  • I found these to be rather oily.

    • They are. Which makes them hard and heavy.

  • To be honest, I didn't really like them as they were overly hard and crunchy…

This was a year ago so don't know if they've fixed it up yet or not

  • It was $4.17 at my local woolies…

  • Has anyone tried hot new packaging and confirm if chips are the same as the old packaging?
I've got BBQ new packaging and HOT old packaging
I felt their chips are different, BBQ is thinner and soft but crunchy

    • +1

Yes the new packaging ones are different and better confirmed by Nandos too
