Nokia 6760 $129 Delivered (Optus Pre-Paid Online)

210

Don't go for the advertised price on their clearance page. When you click the Buy Now button, the actual price which shows in the shopping cart is $129. May well be a pricing error. Enjoy while it lasts. First post so be nice.

Edit: Optus has corrected their mistake. But that doesn't mean you have to pay $159 now. The have corrected the ad and now it is advertised at $129

Did I mention that I have already placed the order :)

    • did u get a confirmation. the system had difficulties and after 3 or so minutes of processing reverted to the clearance page

      • Yes I did get the confirmation on the web page as well as through email. Didn't face any glitch during the whole ordering process.

        • thanks am trying again

  • Hmm, anyone know whether it's locked to Optus? Great price

    • Yes its locked to Optus with an unlocking fee of $80. But, if I remember correctly, after a cumulative recharge of $80, or after use of 6 months, they unlock it for free.

      • Hmm ok thanks.

Wonder if anyone sim card on the Optus network will work then? eg. Virgin, TPG, Live Connected

        • it should
the 4 phones i've bought from optus on prepaid have worked with virgin

      • However use of 6 months requires that you keep the account alive which means at least one recharge of Now and Then, e.g.. So you still have to pay for some usage if you intend to wait it out.

  • back to $159 ?

    • Did you try add to shopping cart - as OP said?

    Still at $129

  • Virgin uses optus, live connected uses optus so any optus resellers will work with this phone

  • Does it work with Google Latitude?

  • Is there any conditions?

  • anyone have experience using this nokia 6760? what are they pro and cons?

  • damn… just subscribe to Samsung Galaxy S with virgin A$49/month with 3 months free

    • Everyone might not be so full in pockets like you :)

      • Well…can claim it against tax return.
If I buy the phone itself.. i have to depreciate over few years..

    • Another correction…..Its $39/month (3 months free) with virgin not $49/month.

      • Good find…That's a great deal!

      • it is on smart cap A$49/month..with 2GB and roll over the credit
        the easy cap A$39/month

        • Ok. I thought we were competing to find the cheapest deal. And whats with the tax return. I'm totally unknown to that field. Would appreciate a little insight.

  • Just a warning with these phones, seen a lot of cracked screens on them. Otherwise pretty decent.
