    Problem is you would have to pay by card so it doesn't get rounded up, but then there's the ALDI card surcharge.

    You could always buy 3 of them and pay in cash.

    All commercial strawberries taste like crap, in season or not.

    Just like tomatoes, they're grown for shelf life and appearance.

    It is strawberry season in QLD.
    And yes you are correct, out of season tastes like shit so freeze them in season.

    It is in-season. So in-season that there's an upcoming Strawberry Festival in Brisbane.

    Which is actually where you should get your strawberries, but it won't be a bargain.

  Strawberry punnets (250gm) are currently 3 for $5 in Coles (so roughly $1.67 a punnet)
