I'm allergic to Chicken, can I get them with fish instead?

        • +4

So main ingredient is Chicken? That's comforting to know

        • @dajackal: long lasting chicken

          @FiveDarrah:

I had to read that twice lol

        • @FiveDarrah: How about fish sticks? Do you like fish sticks in your mouth?

        • you forgot chicken nostrils

      • +1

        Wrong list, start again.

      • Yeh probably.

    • Gotta get the macros in somehow brahhh

  • +35

Sometimes I feel like a sundae. Then see the $3.65 price for a small and laugh and don't bother. Maccas is a rip off these days

    • +29

Get an ice cream cone minus the cone and ask them to put it in a cup with topping.

This creation is called a McOzbargain, most stores know it by name now so all you have to do is ask the cashier for a McOzbargain.

You also have to do the Ozbargain O with your thumb and forefinger as you're ordering.

      • +32

If you want a flake with it, you can put your other forefinger through the Ozbargain O.

        👉👌

    • +1

sometimes i'm stuck between costco sundae or maccas sundae. $2.99 at costco for super large sundae (too much for me to eat all) or $3.65 for a small at maccas.

      • I'll look out for it next time, what's the branding or what's it called?

        • the food court area where you buy the hotdogs and pizza.

        • @kei: Oh so not sold in the freezer aisle..?

Straight in the food court to purchase and eat lol

        • @steveclassy2: Yep. The sundae is massive.

        • @kei:
Do you know the mL? and do they come with toppings? (how much extra $)

Might end up buying it from food court and freezing it at home for a sunny day hahaha

        • +1

Probably like Kirkland like every other food item

    • You feel like having chocolate/caramel/strawberry syrup all over your body too?

  • +1

Took them long enough!! HJ's have had this for a while and they are (debatably) better. Funny that, it's not the burgers that are better at hungry jacks

    • +2

The nuggets are better at Hungry Jacks?

      • +1

Oh whoops just realised I didn't put it in there - I was talking about the sundaes :D

  • +2

maccas nuggets is quite dry for some reason,
    kfc's nuggets are more juicier.

maccas deal already started last week though

    • prob coz mcnuggets use real chicken breast

      • +1

was doing a safety class, one of the classmate work at ighham chicken whom supply chickens for kfc, they use real chicken, mince it up and pack info nuggets forms

hence u see air pockets when u look inside, maccas is the same, processed chicken

        • +2

I mean, they're obviously going to have to be "processed" chicken. No part of the chicken come in nugget form…

        • @Munki:
You serious bro? Man, I always thought the chicken came with nugget bits. :p

        • @dy4me:
lol whenever someone carving a roast chook asks me which part I'd like, I always ask for the mcnugget

        • @dy4me: It's right under the thigh. ;)

      • ditto the other comment re Ingham. Know this for fact and explained in detail in posts a year or 2 ago but Ingham/Baiada (Steggles) basically stock every major fast food company for their chicken. Think about it - reliably supply chain…

    • +1

KFC nuggets are the best by far, they taste the same as McNuggets did 15 years ago.

  • The $2 small shakes have been in Newcastle NSW for some time now.

    • +1

I think Newcastle had shakes around the same time as the earthquake.

      • +1

And Newcastle's still suffering from it ;)

  • +3

Pretty expensive for non-food items dressed as food items.

    Way cheaper in the States.

    • Welcome to Australia. While you're here, also enjoy a bite from our Red backs. It's only $299.99 per visit, YMMV depends on location.

  • Just get 3 loads of $4 nuggets from Coles yo, only takes 20 mins to cook aye

    • yo dont get the sweet and sour sauce aye

      • +2

Made in China now though, is runnier and doesn't taste as good.

Why nugget sauce only got a couple of flavours these days anyway?

      • Bloody hell mates, I checked again and the Coles ones are now only $3.60! With the cumulative saving you could buy some decent sweet and sour I reckon

    • Coles nuggets don't taste good though.

      • The second cheapest ones are alright, supposed to have real chook breast in it…they taste less "breadier" than Maccas ones aye, gotta watch those carbs mates

        • +3

          aye yo gday mate

        • gotta watch those carbs mates

Gotta get them macros in brahhh

    • doesn't taste the same aye

    • +2

Just get 3 loads of $4 nuggets from Coles yo

Thanks Homie, you're seriously gettin' jiggy wiv it.

    • I guess that's good if you're going staying home.

      • +3

Bloody hell mate, are you implying people would actually go out to Maccas to scoff nuggets at the actual Maccas instead of loading up on nuggets and shameful amounts of other junkfood for taking back home so they can rip some cones and binge eat while watching Game of Thrones? Stone the flamin crows!

  • +5

Last time I bought the 24 for $9.95 they gave me only 19 nuggets. Still pissed off about that. No way I will be counting 24 nuggets every time i buy this deal.

    • +8

It's like a footlong subway - "oh no one literally expects 24 nuggets your honour, it's a marketing expression only"

  • +1

There was 24 nuggets for $9.95 on the screen-menu thing when I went there on Friday, didn't end up buying it but I was able to add it to my order just fine (Vic)
