    I joined and it does not appear that many people have joined, still piles of flight left. Flights seem to be available on all days of the week, not sure it thats just for this club thingy though.

    just happened 2 days ago on my flight from cairns to melbourne. flight was originally 00:15 6/10, all of us boarded and at around 1am, they found a duplicate boarding pass. they went through and checked everyone's boarding passes and at around 2am, we were told the flight has beem cancelled. so, all of us evacuated from the plane,went and collect our luggages and at around 3am, we were told that they will reimburse up to $120 of accommodation (only, without transfers or anything) and the flight will be rescheduled but they do not know when it will be and they will give us a call. it was raining, and my partner and i went to a couple of hotels and all were full. we ended up getting one last room at one of the hotels later on (which is much higher than $120). So, we waited whole day the next day for the call and at around 3pm, they called us and told us the flight has been rescheduled at 2359 tonight. we arrived at the airport at 10pm, guess what? flight was delayed and will depart at 0310!

    worst travel experience ever.

    Mum was visiting from Brisbane last week and her flight was due to leave at 11.00, 10 mins before the flight they delayed it for 3 hours, then 3 hours later they cancelled it. Told passengers to go stay in a hotel overnight at Tigers exspense, but they would need to pay for the taxi to and from the hotel and all meals. They did give them an $8 lunch voucher in the airport (which would buy a packet of chips at airport prices)and put a note on it worded to the effect you should be greatfull we are so generous to give you this.

    They would not refund tickets, you had to fill in a form which can take anywhere up to 9 weeks for the refund to return.

    Personally Id rather walk than take Tiger again.

    Had a similar problem with them 4 weeks before mums flight however I was going to Brisbane from Adelaide, they delayed the flight 3 hours just before take off.

    tiger is cheap but very unreliable - great if you're not on a deadline but dont count on being at your destination at anything like the advertised time.

  As always with Tiger sales I like people to be aware that Tiger stooged this customer. We were not told in any form that our flight was cancelled and Tiger took twelve months from when we purchased our tickets to refund the money, and this was after we contacted the airline several times and went to fair trading.

    I've also just did several 'tests', and all the prices came back as advertised.

    e.g. (4 Dec from Melb Avalon):

    Melb - Syd: $18.98
    Melb - Gold Cost: $16.60
    Melb - Rockhampton: $15.63

    I suggest that you search within the date range. I'm revoking your vote.
