          @BlazinPast:

Ohhh okay, great find! I'll put it in the post. Thanks for your help!

    • Thanks… let us know if you can fix that error.

    • I was just about to post the same link :-)
And mine came up with invalid ID's too (but the error message is not very helpful, to work out which is causing problems).

    • +1

I've found the stores with incorrect names (matchbox_digital and aumyozeshop)

Also, please note capitals are not valid store names, so I've fixed that (i.e. Southcoastmusic_online, Shopmonk and Beyond-The-Box).

Here is the fixed link to all other sellers (except the former 2)

      • +1

Hey there! The issue has been sorted out and the full link is in the post, thanks for taking the time to find a few issues though!

        • you're too quick to reply… now I can't remove my comment haha.

Cheers for getting the link up in the first place.

        • @0zbargained:

It's not aumyozeshop, it is *aumyozeshop*. Try again, it should work.

funny thing is that looking at prices of current laptops VS those same laptops from last night they have gone up in price already so it was cheaper buying with the 10% OFF ALL ebay items yesterday then this 20% these selected store items today.

    • Any stores in particular?

      • found one that's still the same price.

  • +2
  • +1

    Any LG G6?

  • search link to stores please

  • +1

Sigh. Again, no Dyson V8 Absolute's included (at this stage anyway). Only 1 overpriced V8 Animal.

Looks like another sale where the credit card stays in the wallet.

  • +1

Everything i looked at seems overpriced. Sigh

  • +1

I don't think I'll buy anything from this sale

    • +9

Gonna have to demote you to just Ken now.

      • But if they crank up the prices, is it even a bargain?

        • +3

Nope. That would be a barLOSS.. thank you everybody I'll be here all week.

  • Great to see dcxpert in there…might be time on the sigma 135mm.
Their prices are the best for Australian sigma lenses and with 20% off should be a great buy.

  • Can someone please suggest a decent pair of over-ear headphones around 250?

  • S8+ for $700 would be tempting

    • I second that. A man can dream.

  • +1

Assuming mymobile_store doesn't amend their iPhone 7 prices, a 128GB will go for $863 with the code. Wondering should I wait for the 8's release or bite the bullet now. My 6's battery is pretty much dead & hardly holds any charge anymore.

    • +3

only another month and a bit, wait for the iphone 8.

      • Close to 30% off RRP - is that a common discount for superseded models from Apple? No interest for the 8 at all. Lol

  • Any good deals yet? No one has posted good deals.

    • +1

i want to get an apple watch, see what happens, usually they jack the prices up and its not much of a deal.

  • +1

    any surface pro deal?

  • +5

I don't know why I bother with these deals when I never find anything. Usually it's cheaper when there is no 20% off.

  • +1
    • -1

      838 sales with 85.1% feedback. I'll pass.

  • +1

    OZBARLOSS20

  • any chormecast deal?

  • Is the Dell XPS 13 at $1599 with this coupon a good price for it?

Been looking for a good ultrabook but not sure if I'm getting a good price for it.

    • link?

    • +1

      Its all about the spec's

    • I haven't searched around but I bought one early this year for over 2k so looks like a good price. Just be aware that it's not a super performant machine. I mean it's reaosnable but I do dev work and decided to switch out for something with better specs so now just use it as a backup and broswer machine.

  • +2

Significant bargain here http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Flora-Testing-List-/262555065019?…. I'll be waiting eagerly for my 1% cashrewards on this one.

    • +1

Must be a bulk delivery of cocaine…I mean headphones as a wedding present. Allow extra $1k for a ticket to Columbia.

  • so how does this work? when ebay release the 20% off, the sellers all put up there prices?

who pays for this 20% off? ebay or the seller?

does the 10% off site, work the same? or thats ebays loss?

i was talking to a seller, to see if they will drop there listing price to what others are, and they wouldnt, thats why there price is 15% higher than the rest. so its only 5% discount. where ebay did there 10% off site wide.

    im so confused

    • +9

      username checks out

    • some items go up .. some items stay the same.. some items get sold out right away and most are close to 5% cheaper then the cheapest price on static ice after the discount..

If you're lucky you'll find some gems in a pile of turds.

      • yea, i dont see how they are allowed to increase there price like that

        Example only
its like IKEA saying 50% off everything but raise there prices by 45% so you only save 5%

but yea, guess you just have to catch the good deals, the 20% sounds good but most items are prices 15% higher what a scam

anyway, lets hope we find some good deals

        • you cant put the blame only on the ebay sellers as ebay's fee's are pretty high and most prices include shipping. i think GST is now required to be paid on sales. called the netflix tax

        • @vid_ghost:

netflix tax is only on digital products :P

i think… this is the digital services tax …. :P

confusing much? so confused actually.. cause ebay isnt a subscription (so its not a netflix) so. which tax is this>

        • @vid_ghost:

yea. they dont have to include shipping though, they could just make the item cheaper by the shipping amount, this way they also pay less ebay fees, since i believe shipping isnt included in fees (i could be wrong)

i just was talking to ebay, and the 20% off ebay pays for, so if the item is $400 and you apply the 20% off, you will get it for $320 but the seller still gets $400. so if the seller raised there prices thats low… and ebay said to report it is they do, im new to the 20% off deals so im going to have to keep an eye out to see for myself if they raise prices before the discount

        • If IKEA raised their prices by 45% then gave you a 50% discount you'd still be getting a 27.5% discount off the original price.

        • @mthomas87:

yea my maths wasnt any good LOL but you know what i mean

so if something was $100, they raise it enough to be the same price with 50% off so like $200 instead, then you get your 50% off $200 its still $100

        • @mthomas87:

          Thats the point.

    • +2

sounds like you are quite perplexed…..

  • Oh joy, another tech sale, as if we hand't had enough of those already!

  • +2

Ok guys start hunting deals and start posting!
If only iPhone 8 was out 20% off would be nice.

    • we probably are going to need 40% for that one

  • any DJI Mavic?

I bought it last week with 10% discount. REGRET!
      Now with 20% discount.

      • They just raised the price from 1,699 to 1,789…

        • Still cheaper than what I bought. Lol

  • +1

I have a query - why not just buy the items we want now and wait to checkout until after 4.00pm? That way we can beat any attempts by the stores to withdraw items from sale at 4.00pm or hike their prices.

I have done this before on previous 10% off sitewide deals - I could apply the coupon to auctions I had won before the promo started.

Keen not to get screwed on a Ryzen 5 1600 (could pick one up for $260 inc post from futu or shopping-express if their current prices hold until after 4.00pm).

    Thanks

    • yeah I've been wondering about this myself
      Might be worth a shot

    • They won't change their prices now as it's too easy to see a price increase, they usually do it overnight or days before. I noticed Videopro had their QC35's for $402 on Saturday and now it's back to $447, they did it overnight.

      • Yeah OK so they change the prices before the 20% off sale is announced. Bastards!

        • Yep and eBay don't say anything about it :)

      • but there are a lot of things that have only 1 in stock.
Can I buy it now and pay it later with the coupon code?

  • +1

Think the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming is going to be a good deal with 20% off from dell?

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Dell-Inspiron-15-7000-Gaming-Core…

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Dell-Inspiron-15-7000-Gaming-Core…

Anyone see good Phone deals around $200-250?

    • Looking at the i5, I see that it's listed as an IPS which is good. But it seems we have no option to get the Gray over the Red? My missus is in the market and isn't too keen on the red.

  • -2

Just tried to use the code experimentally on an item from fromchinawithlove and the code wasn't accepted.

    • +1

the code starts working after 4:00PM today 16:00 hour time

      • +1

Thankyou vid_ghost, please excuse my inattention everybody.

I was reading predictions last night, when this was posted, that this would likely kick off around 10am.

  • Gaming laptops?

  • Any of these do PS4 deals?

  • Xiaomi Mi 5 will be a fairly decent deal if it's 20% off $349,
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Xiaomi-Mi-5-/282503154593?epid=0&…

    • oh

was 20% off with code PLAYER. Ends 31 Jul.

    • Was recently $266 delivered from GearBest (64 GB version)
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/321323

      • That is 64GB version from Gearbest, but lack Band 5 as well as Band 28

        • I don't think there's any variant that supports other bands.
It does support 3G band 5 (NextG).
Not sure how important 4G band 28 is.

        • @Phoebus: 64GB model is Prime version of Mi5 and it doesn't support band 5 (850)

          I have verified with GSMarena

        • +1

          @OzSikh:
OK.. Seems to be LTE band 5 (no good for Vodafone)
not 3G band 5 (Telstra NextG).

        • @Phoebus: oh sorry, I didn't mention LTE

        • -1

Hey mate, a Reps from Shopmonk messaged me again today to advise that the Mi 5 listed on eBay is 64GB/3GB version.

It was a misunderstanding from their end before.

  • +3

There is only 1 Available but there is a killer deal on this PS4 Pro Manufacturer Refurbished from Sony!! Whoever wants it get in ASAP, use COZZIE to get it for $352.80 Delivered.

Their Manufacturer Refurbished most likely just means an open box and therefore basically brand new, enjoy to whoever gets it :)

  • Ohh great timing. Time to get stuff i can claim TRS on.

  • Anyone have experience with vaya_shop ?

specially warranty process. do they offer Australia warranty or is this Grey import/vendor warranty ?

    • My S7 was grey import, warranty is sending back to Sydney…

      • thanks !

how was the experience claiming warranty :) - did it go smoothly.

its just that they have a currently ebay rating of of 95.7 so I a little worries whether I should buy from them or not

  • No good mobile phone deal here ….

  • Which AM4 motherboard should I pair with Ryzen 5 1600?

  • Any 4TB HDD deals?

    • Maybe

  • Might bite the bullet and get the iPad Pro 10.5 this sale. Such a shame there's a $300 jump between cellular and non-cellular. Tethering it is!

Anyone know where you can get the Apple Pencil a little cheaper than RRP? All I've found is $145 in major retailers and $129 + Shipping from Kogan/DS :-(

    • +2

I've found a few options for you and they all include price matching at Officeworks. Umart has it on Pre-Order for $138 so you could try your luck and price match. iFrog also have it for $130.90. Try your luck finding a clueless employee who doesn't look at shipping costs :)

      • Sweet! Forgot about Price Matching, might hit up my Officeworks this evening and have a go at getting them to match Umart down the road :D

        • +1

Good luck! I'd say the Officeworks at Milton is the easiest to price match in my experiences, so if that's near you then I'd recommend it :)

    • Please let me know which store you are going to buy the iPad Pro because I need the 12.9 version.

      • I was going to buy from buymobileau but there's way too many negative feedback ratings due to people receiving units that have existing login details and them not having stock.

Next best option at the moment is Vaya, which is grey stock and will arrive in two weeks - or go with AusLuck and pay an extra $100 more for local stock ($863 - cashrewards of ~$11). $850 is still a considerable amount cheaper than Apple RRP.

I might wait and see if any of the sellers reduce their prices in the coming week before I decide to purchase one.

        • Thanks, unfortunately Ausluck doesn't have any 12.9" models. I'll keep looking.
