I highly recommend purchasing this over their HK stock.

There are alot of people including myself that never received their HK Order. After a week of back and forth, I received very quickly from their Sydney Warehouse.

    • +2

i purchased 2 of their powerbanks in May 2017 and didn't receive it. I've send them emails but nothing was resolved. Finally got an email today after more than 2 months they decided to refund my money through paypal escalation. I'll have to wait 5 days to see if I get a refund now.

      • If you submitted a support ticket, they should have responded within a few business days.

      • +1

same I ordered but didn't receive,
they gave PayPal some bogus number, not even traceable, PayPal did not refund, either did Shopping Square.

        • From my last order from banggood, Auspost told it was hold up by border security.

    • GF's sister ordered one from HK a few months ago, it never showed.
Guess there is just a bit of hit and miss.
I've been lucky i think, only thing not showed up here this year are some wire PC fan guards i was going to use to jury rig a soldering fume extractor.

Yeh I never received mine from the last deal either! Had to recover funds through Paypal. Thinking of not purchasing these on principle

    • same here never received mine from the last special.

waited 2 months eventually got the dispute sorted through paypal.

quiet suprised as haven't previously had any issues with this site.

    • I've been having difficulty getting 18650 batteries into Australia recently. Not limited to shopping square, although people are saying their support is shit.

      • All my Banggood orders arrive.

  • The 20000 one should be QC 3.0 right?

  • grabbed a 20k. thanks!

  • Been waiting for a AU stock on these - got a 20K cheers.

  • Do they ship the 20k powerbank and make it through customs?

    • +1

These are AU stock and will ship from their Sydney warehouse.

      • Thanks mate, 'preciate it

  • +1

    How about power boards/strips please

  • +2

Is it good to nintendo switch?

  • thank you, just ordered!!

  • Does anyone know how long the 20Ah one takes to charge fully? I have a 2.4A 5V charger..

  • QC 3.0 input as well ?

  • Heads up, I recently purchased 3x 20000mAH powerbanks from shopping square and only 2 arrived in the package despite the packing slip saying 3.

  • This power bank is amazing. It holds way more charge than any other 10,000mAh device I've ever used.

Make sure you use a good charger (5V 2A) otherwise it will take A LONG TIME to charge.

  • +1

Thanks, my current 10,000 is starting to play up.

  • +6

Shopping square = no thanks. One of the worst sellers for customer service

    • +1

      Yes they are.

    • +3

      wait what ?

      they have customer service?

  • If only the 20k came in black….

I bought tf card from their so called " local stock" . That's a deal posted on ozbargain in July. They sent a email telling me the item will be shipped in 5 days after 1 week and then after another week they emailed me telling me they will ship in 3 days. After 5 days or so I opened a case on EBay and they get the item shipped the same day. And they replied in the case saying they already shipped the item and I should not ever open a case. What a joke!

    • +1

Haha exactly what happened to me with an SD card. Opened ebay dispute, and magically item was marked shipped on ebay. Then get an email 2 days later saying the item is not shipped and on hold due to my ebay dispute.

      • +1

I did not cancel the case because I don't know whether they really shipped the item or not.

        • Did you receive a tracking number? if not ebay will refund your money.

        • @anzacpaul: No. No tracking number.

        • @theabyss:

Then i'd go for a refund.

  • Are these auspost delivered or some other couriers?

  • I am going overseas in a two months. Is it safe/allowed to travel from/to Australia with one of these?

  • +2

Just ordered - sick of the kids continually taking my powerbank! Thanks OP.

Bought both the 10k and 20k back in June, both pretty good quality and so far so good can't complain for the price and 10k one is defs enough for daily usage but i mainly use the 20k one

    • thanks, does 20k one weigh much heavier than the 10k?

      • +1

i use both very often, usually when i go uni, work and while im driving i would use the 20k one because it last alot longer and if i go for a night out or gym anywhere that i don't wanna carry too much stuff on me i would bring the 10k one, because it is much lighter and more convenient to carry :) but generally speaking 10k one is more than enough unless you planning to go for a road trip or traveling

        • Awesome thanks, I think 10k would be fine for me then.

  • +2

It said "Estimated between Wed. 30 Aug. and Tue. 5 Sep. "

Local stock shouldn't take that long.

    • My estimate was 16-23 August.

      • +1

Like my last order they may have sold out local stock and it will come from overseas.

BTW, I am checking the 20000 one.

        • Black one has a reasonable shipping estimate. That said, Shopping square AU always takes around 1.5 times longer than normal.

  • I get the same :(

  • I'm thinking about attaching this to a USB solar charger + a USB sensor light for my outhouse…. would that work or a terrible idea? Outhouse would only be used once every couple days. Thoughts?

    • It would probably work, but seems overly complex/expensive. They don't have them at the moment, but periodically, Aldi have a solar shed light. For $15, it's excellent. (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/321677) - If you don't want to wait for the deal to become available again, there are plenty of similar options available elsewhere, just not at that price point for a bricks and mortar store.

hey guys, this one is 50000 and it is like 23 bux, isnt this much better why would you want to pay 37 for 20000. And im assuming if the 20k charges a iphone 7 times, a 50k would charge is like 14 times. Am I missing something sorry im a noob.

    • +2

      Am I missing something

      Yes the link.

      But doesn't matter. It's not 50000mAh. It's fake.

      • -2
        • +4

don't need to look to know it's fake.

        • +1

There's no way 50000mAh fits into that tiny powerbank. Like most generic brand powerbank, the capacity is highly exaggerated, and the component may be harmful to yourself/the phone.

When buying a charger (wall/power bank) I highly recommend purchasing a reputable brand for the safety of it.

          @cool kid:

          Definitely fake.

If you look in a 20,000 xiaomi you'll see it's pretty much 90% batteries.

          http://www.xiaomitoday.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/s_215d…

For something as flat as the 50000 above, it's half as thin and holds 2.5x the power. There is no such battery that will fit the space. If there was - everyone would be using them.

        • just look at the negative feedback from the ebay vendor - most of them are about this so called 50000mAh unit

@RichardL: thank you, everyone, oh my gosh seriously why would people do that !! I am just very shocked that people selling stuff would lie like that on the internet/ebay. I will definitely be more vigilant and steer clear of too good to be true things. Thanks again all :)

Similar deal in June and I never received it. Had a short holiday in China and got one direct from Xiaomi.
Chased up after my holiday (6 weeks later) and asked for a refund. Absolute joke.

  • +1

Steer clear from Shopping Square…they were an absolute pain to deal with !!

  • +2

Waited 2 months for a charger from SS to show up, never did. Had to ask them for a refund.

  • Generated a Kogan referral voucher for 10 AUD and bought for 25 AUD(10000 mAh-QC 2.0). Delivered in 3 working days.

Works wonderfully well. My Iphone 7 plus gets to 90 percent with in less than one and half hours.

Don't get anything from Shopping Square. It is just waste of time for their delivery.

  • I wish Xiaomi had a jump starter power pack!

  • 20000mAh sold out again.

  • 20000mAh back in stock but estimated on ore before 11 Sept so must be overseas stock.

    10000mAh on or before 4Sept.

    • Yeah just bought 2 of the 20k and shipping date is on or before sept 8.

      • Just received the two 20k powerbanks today.

One box opened with a 'random check' sticker on it.

        The other sealed.

Both have the xiaomi verification sticker.

Unable to verify the code as english version of site to verify not working. Might get a chinese colleague to check for me as the chinese website looks like its working.

Posted from smithfield according to the consignment.

  • Interested, does this "fast charge" a Nexus 5X?
