Yea, the also basically just buy out lots of smaller web host providers and screw over the customers from them as well. I was with HG for a short period. Will never go back or recommend them to anyone.

I have actually had the opposite support experience with them, with usually a 1-3 hour response time for any queries.
Been with them for around 5 years.
I haven't had many if any issues with hostgator, they have always been quick to resolve my tickets !! Perfect for personal or small business websites that want a presence on the internet but may not necessarily need to uptime/speeds a larger company relies on ……just wish they had some vouchers for renewing customers
They are part of EIG (Search for reviews) if you want extremely unreliable hosting with support that takes days to answer, then this is a good deal. Wouldn't host with any EIG company even if they paid me.
