  • I have the E7 which uses the same panel. Highly, highly recommended. PQ is amazing.

  • Sets reminder for when this is $2,000.

BTW, I think it's only free shipping for metro, shows as AU $47.12 delivery for me in regional NSW.

    • Did the last year model hit $2K?

      • It hit maybe 2400-2600 on clearance, but I'd expect this one to have one more price drop before it goes on clearance.

This is US$2200/AU$2700 in the US right now, so expect it to drop to US$1900/AU$2400 towards end of life, then perhaps go on clearance for $2200 if you're lucky.

$2000 is a possibility for the 2018 model, depending on how they iterate. Pretty impressive really when LG are the only ones investing in panel development.

  • I have the Pansonic EZ950 65" OLED. OLED is amazing.

    • Do you mean Panasonic or Palsonic? For the love of picture quality and all other quality, I hope you mean Panasonic!

      • Sorry, I meant Panasonic :P

Still waiting for an awesome 65" deal. First world problems :'(

    • Yep, trigger pull set for $3k on a 65". Looks like about another $1000-$1300 to go so maybe by about Christmas or Easter 2018 I reckon. Hmmm.

      • Yeah I think our best bet will be around Easter when the new models are nearly here. I had hoped for more price drops due to the competition from Sony & Panasonic but it's been a bit lacklustre so far.

    • I'm in the same boat :)

  • This looks like a permanent price drop, in line with the drop in the US. Keep an eye out for 10-20% discount codes.

This TV is turning into an awesome deal.. for me anyway.. with all respective cashbacks.. price protection rebates.. I think i'll end up paying $2330 for mine.. it could go down even further in the next 5 months and I'll get it even cheaper :)

  • Whens this Done ?

and getting a 55E6 is now impassible i take it …..
