    5% pffft

    • +3

      Pearly freakin feverishly fun times?

    • -7

5% with a minimum of $30 spend isn't too bad if you're not buying much (and with 3 per account), not that far off 15% with $75 minimum.

      • +4

I don't seem to understand how you got it close to 15% off with $75 minimum…

      • 15/300

        • How did you get $300?

        • OVER 9000??!!

      • Scab's math:

        5% with a minimum of $30 spend
        = 10% with a minimum of $60 spend
        = 15% with a minimum of $90 spend
which is not that far off 15% with a minimum of $75 spend

        Now, according to Scab's math:
        5% with a minimum of $30 spend
        = 100% with a minimum of $600 spend

Scab, I wish eBay had employed you as a programmer for the shopping cart….

Considering I purchase random low-priced crap off ebay all the time anyway, 5% is better than 0%.

      • i agree, 5% better than no percent

  • +1

This sale must be equivalent to (if not better than) 20% off selected stores as in this sale they don't jack up their prices by 5%, or do they?

    • They generally don't

  • +7

    Only 5%!!!!

    Bring back 15%!?!?!?

    • Sure

      • +1

        Did you do it yet?

    Thanks OP. Better than 0%!

Only 5%? That's pretty lame but oh well… unzips wallet.

    • +5

Odd place to keep a wallet.

      • Coin section of wallet. You feed them into the floppy drive to pay for things online

        • Pretty sure it's unfold wallet. Zips only keep shrapnel, which is for children to throw into fountains and such.

        • Years ago on another forum a computer repairer who worked for Gateway had a customer complaining that online purchasing didn't work. The floppy disc drive contained his unsigned credit card!

Just remember to check the store page for any store before you are purchasing to see if there any (1) deals, (2) coupons, (3) referral program discount and/or (4) cashback available and the different rates. All near the top of the store page, then scroll down for the deals. Eg: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/ebay.com.au

Just replace ebay.com.au with whatever website you are purchasing from https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/websiteurlhere.com

    • mate you forgot about cash reward bonus on that purchase ;P

    • Member since 27/5/2014, don't think you can fool us with your nickname. Rookie liar.

      • Didn't say I was new, just that I made a rookie mistake and should have known better! :)

the purchase was only just over the $30 and I did CR it but that's not the point, I forgot rule #1, ALYWAYS check for a code!!!

  • Does it stack with the 20% off store specific deals?

    • It does not, only 1 code can be used.

      • The 20% off worked out to 5% off if you're lucky and the seller doesn't jack up the price too much.

This 5% off will all be absorbed by greed, so no point.

    • Don't think eBay codes have ever stacked. The only stacking would be Cashrewards I guess :-)

    • Thanks!

  • hope they havent replaced COZZIE with this. i just used cozzie the other day, still good.

    • COZZIE also expired this morning unfortunately it seems.

      • noooo, i have the biggest sad face now. lucky i got in with my purchase

    • As in the post, COZZIE expired

      • I didn't know about COZZIE…… Fuuuuuu

C5OZ and had some great times together though.

I already have a LG G6 but I am waiting for the 15% sitewide to buy a OP5 :( freaking temptation is killing me after every 6 months.

    • Why op5 when u have the g6?

      • So he can run dual sim he needs two phones.

  • you had me at hello

  • As in ebay feeling the pinch from the impending arrival of amazon au?

  • Has PINCH5 code expired? Does not work for me.

    • Still works for me. Have you used it more than 3 times? Are you using an australian paypal account to pay for it?

  • Two points:

    PINCH5 coupon expires 31/12/2017
so we have a while to use it.

    I just bought a AU$106 signal generator for AU$69.24
    mainly by checking ebay.com/.de/.uk/.in/.nz/.ca prices.
As AUD is up again it's an idea to shop around and use all discounts.

  • I keep getting the "This code can't be applied to your order" error message :(

    • How much is your order? Minimum spend is $30.

Also if it's over $75 use the 10% off deal until midnight tonight.

Otherwise, are you using Australian Paypal account and is your Paypal email the same as your eBay email? They are 2 common causes for the code not applying. Also make sure no items are in these categories as they are excluded:

Bullion (178078), Services (316), Cars, Bikes, Boats (9800), Tickets, Travel (11,730), Other Lots More Items (88433) and Gift Cards (172,009).

      • Its a PS4 Pro 1tb for 500 AUD

        Link: (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/162652279286)

Thanks for the 10% coupon, but thats giving me the same error message :/

        • It works for me with PEARLER, just tested now:

          Item (1) AU $500.00
          Postage Free
          Vouchers -AU $50.00
          Order total AU $450.00

Do you definitely have an Australian Paypal account and does your Paypal email match your eBay email? That is likely to be the problem, they need to match and Paypal must be Australian account. You might need to make a new account if that is the problem. If not you can try eBay live chat.

        • @hamza23: Thanks for checking buddy. Yes I definitely have an Australian Paypal setup, and the eBay and Paypal emails are both the same.
Ill contact ebay support now and see whats going on

        • @shakir99:

Ah that's weird :/ Good luck, let us know how you go.

        • +1

@hamza23: Just spoke to an ebay rep, it was an issue with my registered ebay address which wasnt set to Australia. Made the change and the code now works! Thanks again for all the help

  • Tested this morning - the code is still active

  • Looks like it expired now, does anybody know if it got replaced with a new one? Cheers.
