This ones a little outside the box. But for anyone knowing what an ICO is or anyone new to cryptocurrency then this is worth a go to get your foot on the crypto ladder.
Anyway there's a new ICO(Initial Coin Offering, basically the equivalent of a share float on the stock market) from Authorship.com. Anyone signing up to their mailing list will get 75 ATS tokens worth $US10.00 for free. The company will list on the bigger exchanges on 14th September and if all goes to plan, and their projections are correct, these coins could have a 10x opening. Yep $US100 for a few minutes work signing up is damned worth it. I have my 75 ATS tokens minutes from signing up.
What does ATS stand for and what is it?
Authorship Token. The ATS, an ERC-20 token based on the Ethereum technology, is a unit of exchange on a new Blockchain based book publishing system. Authors, publishers and translators are rewarded with ATS tokens in exchange to book sales, while readers are able to spend ATS tokens in order to purchase books. The tokens will be exchangeable to/from real money both directly on the Authorship platform (deposit/withdraw area) and through several cryptocurrency exchange platforms who are going to list the ATS tokens.
While we can only speculate about the future value of ATS tokens, 500%-1000% is usually a common among successful ICOs.
ATS tokens have a limited supply of tokens. There are only 100 M tokens available, and there will never be more. What this means for you, as an investor?
The publishing industry accounts for $100 Billion of annual revenue. If Authorship manages to attract even just 1% of the industry volume (meaning that all we need to do is convince 1 in 100 authors to join us), the Authorship’s annual revenue would be $1 Billion.
$1 Billion split into 100 M tokens, results a minimum value of $10/ATS token, if we manage to attract as low as 1% of the publishing industry through our platform. Compared to the starting price of 15 cents/token, that’s almost 100 times higher.
And Authorship plans to reach that point in just 2 years! How do you think potential investors are going to react to such an opportunity once we hit exchanges? ATS could reach the $10 price point from the very first months.
There is no reason why we should not achieve our objective: we’ve got a growing team of experts, we’ve got all the connections to the publishing world, we’ve got thousands of authors who’d join the upcoming platform as soon it’s live.
You will need an Ethereum(ETH) wallet address but this can be set up pretty quickly with the many that are available. Simplest to get is the one in the guide.
I'm telling all my non crypto friends to give this a go. For free, they can get onto the crypto hype train and see what an ico launch is like and get to know a little of what this fascinating, great tech is going to offer in the coming years.
I would have killed to try and get into something as easy as this a few months back, I've researched the hard way of getting into cryptcurrency and since my first bitcoin purchase on 1st July have absolutely enjoyed the ride. To get a free go at something that can be daunting for newbies is a great way to experience what its like to be in the crytocurrency world :)

Go to https://www.myetherwallet.com/
Enter a memorable password, click on download and save that file, click I understand, click print paper wallet and save it as a pdf. Open the pdf and copy the ETh wallet key.
Your Eth wallet key will look like this - 0xd86Cf04BeeFdA26f43e85013688192A83Fc82AD5. (Don't use the other longer key)
Go to http://authorship.com/contribute (or if you want someone else to get extra coins go via the referral below)and enter your details with your Eth wallet key in the third field of the sign up page.
Keep your Eth paper wallet in a safe place, you'll need it next month to trade the ATS tokens.

You'll get sent an email, confirm your sign up, your 75 ATS tokens will be in your account. Get 10 extra tokens with the facebook/twitter follow pages.
For 5 mins work you'll have 85 tokens worth more than $us10 on Sept 14th. Even if they're worth zip you'd have owned crypto.
