And I bought a third one, I have no need for any of these. Yeelights are the new Eneloops.

xiaomi is the new Eneloops :)

    • I've been trying to buy a second, these deals last less than an hour.

    • hehe I was just thinking that. I have 2 on their way to me.

  • I've logged in but says code expired?

  • The Code you entered has expired.

    anything i did wrong?

  • The Code you entered has expired.
Code for single unit price only; VIP Price, Special Offer or Group Deal all exempt.

    • But what does that mean? I'm also getting the same error message.

  • Has anyone managed to get the yeelight to dim at certain time of day? Eg a night light.

I have a mix of yeelight and WeMo and with the WeMo it's easy to schedule the on/off and dim in rules.

    • Same here, the only option I could find is to brightness down

    • Have you tried using it with IFTTT? (Haven't checked that it's compatible, but it should be)

    • +1

I have Home Assistant driving my WeMos. Once my Yeelights arrive I will drive them from Home Assistant as well. You can use the same rule in HA for any type of light.

  • I never have luck with ordering from Gearbest - paypal review price was $15.11AUD, but on placing the order it charged me $23.55. oh well.
Edit* this isn't meant to be a reflection on Gearbest, rather my skills!!!

    • i think its because the coupon code exhausted its use just as you were about to checkout

  • I get expired after logging in. :(

  • No luck, code says it's expired. Account logged in

  • The Code you entered has expired.

For anyone who wants it a bit cheaper, you can still get it from Tomtop for $11.71 USD.

    • +1

FYI tomtop suck at customer service so if things go sideways for some reason good luck in getting any response from them

      • that's where paypal comes in

  • Code expire message for me.

  • +1

    Did anyone even get it?

      • +1

        Code was single use only?

        • +1

That would be interesting, considering there was at least 2 confirmed orders off it ;)

Didn't bother reading all the other comments?

        • +2

You mean the ones where people said they got it? I sure did, and it answered your question before you posted it.

But of course, a troll like you would rather write something rather than read

        • @Spackbace: How is that trolling? Cant you see all the comments saying its expired (before the deal was marked as expired)? There are more saying it expired than saying they got it. Safe to assume there is an issue with the code.

        • +1

          @Orpheus:

Yep, safe to assume it didn't have as many uses as past ones, but it's also obvious to anyone that can read that at least 1 person got it (as well as me), so not only was your comment pointless but it was so pointless it's just trolling.

        • +1

@Spackbace: how is informing others that a deal has potentially expired a few minutes after posting considered trolling? 2 people getting this is clearly insufficient quantity.

        • @Orpheus:

          Did anyone even get it?

How is that 'informing others that it's potentially expired?' Or is this a secret code?

        • +1

@Spackbace: because im asking if its expired, which it ended up being because only 2 people got it.

        • @Orpheus:

          Did anyone even get it?

Not sure in what version of English that equals "has this expired?"

Maybe I need to bring myself down to your level to work it out

        • +2

@Spackbace: I'd agree that "Did anyone even get it?" does not equate to "has this expired?".

It's asked as an aggressive rhetorical question. If you want to get your point across (that something has expired), you don't need to "ask" it in such a way.

But sure - it would definitely help to know. Just no need to be a d!#k about it that's all.

    Best deal ever…

  • +1

I ordered one no issue with the code

  • Do they make these in the bayonet type? Or what would be the best bayonet one at the moment? Looked at lifx but expensive without a deal, and OOS.

SA/WA Ikea stores have adapters for a few dollars, otherwise your local Bunnings should stock the adapters

      • True, only issue is I don't think it would fit in the socket with an adaptor. Guess I will find out. Cheers

How about a dead for either xiaomi rice cooker (regular and presure).
