  • Are they loud? I'm disappointed with the AKG ones that came with my S8+, the quality is good but they're so quiet!

    • Using the same..They sound good, but they are quiet as well.

      • +1

You're using the level U Pro or the AKG's?

    • +1

If you're using Google Play Music or the Samsung Music app. Go into the settings and try Adapt Sound. Go through the steps, and it should make the earphones better suited to you.

      • Already have, still too low

        • +2

Mine seem quiet, they improved a lot when I got memory foam tips for them. If they become a bit loose, they get quiet again. Take a look on ebay/gearbest for memory phone ear buds, just be careful crossing roads, cos you won't hear the STA bus about to take you out.

        • @Robc: Any recommendations for memory foam tip shopping?

        • +1

@buttstuff: Comply ones are the go, expensive though. Gear best has knock off's, annoying that they are not quite perfect for the akg's. They tend to fall off in your pocket as they aren't recessed to match the lugs on the oitputs
About 3 dollars delivered for 5 pairs though, worth trying to see if they help you.

Level U pro…sorry for the confusion.

    • +1

      Thanks for the replies.

  • reviews good but i dislike the cable part of this thing. will it get tangled and maybe broken just like normal earbuds?
maybe i get used with my backbeat FIT, i can throw punch step crumble it and still be fine.

    • lots of reviwes said it falls apart easily…

      • +1

i really suggest people to try backbeat FIT. almost un-destructible. you wont need to untangle cables anymore. ever. with this one, if you are in hurry you might snap the cable and thats it. gone.

    • There is nothing to tangle here. I've been using them pretty roughly but they're solidly built.

    Samsung Level Uterus (Pro)

    fixed…

At first I thought this was an unfunny joke. But it does look a little bit like one.

    • Right on mate… @jv … You have a great imagination :)

  • +1

Will buy if price hasn't gone up by tomorrow.

    No I don't need it.

    • Still the same price it's after midnight so equal tomorrow

      • +1

I ended up paying $22 extra and getting the ANC edition. White only unfortunately.

        • +5

Comes with a photo of Nelson Mandela?

        • @nephilim: I'll let you know in a few weeks.

        • Review said people can't tell anc or not

        • @dragonindespair: Uh oh. That's not good. The only ANC in-ears I've heard that's worth a damn is Bose QC20.

        • I've got the ANC ones too, the arms are delicate (keep away from toddlers!), but for the price, the sound quality and noise cancellation have been great.

The "anti-ANC" mode (whatever it's called) can also be useful when driving/cycling, so you can still hear your surroundings while listening to music.

        • @particle: There seems to be conflicting reports on ANC. Some say it's good and blocks out most sound, others say it makes no difference. I guess I'll find out for myself.

        • @lostn: hey have you received your anc version? Just wondering how they are. Can anc be turned off?

        • @cmdbash: Still not received it yet..

        • @cmdbash: There's a switch on the left collar to turn anc on and off.

  • This comment left intentionally blank.

    • Same as this one.

  • +1

I bought these for the same price on Amazon 2 weeks ago. Received it yesterday. Sound quality is good and sound volume is good. For the price you can't get anything better. Easy to break id your not careful.

    • Been wanting to get a pair of bluetooth earphones, how would these compare to the xiaomi hybrid pro hd wired earphones or similar?

      • I got these earphones too and they have sound quality on par to the xiaomi hybrid pro hd, I also agree that the cable is not very sturdy, its really thin and seems it can break easily. There is an Android app called Samsung Level which you can use to control the earphones functions. It is also not over the ear design, which is good because I wear glasses, and the over the ear is uncomfortable when wearing with glasses.

        • +1

For me I dont like something put tightly jammed inside my ear canals, I prefer sit on

  • +1

Anyone know how these compare sound wise to QCY Bluetooth headphones?

  • why is amazon saying it can't ship to Adelaide????

  • I thought this was a slingshot at first just looking at the picture. Silly me.

    • +1

I thought it was a biology lesson and it looks like a woman's cervix

  • How does it compare to these more expensive Jaybirds?

    • Get the X3s instead. Better sound and longer battery.

      • X3 is better than Freedom Wireless?

        • 8h battery vs 4h (without having to use the extra battery pack the Freedom comes with). Sound wise they're relatively similar but I found the X3s a bit better.

        • @cnut:
just checked this website regarding battery use

          http://www.rtings.com/headphones/reviews/samsung/level-u-pro

          7.8 Battery Battery Type: Rechargable
          Battery Life: 9.45 hrs
          Charge Time: 1.9 hrs
          Auto-off: Yes
          Audio while charging: Yes
          Passive Playback: No

The Level U Pro have a below-average battery life of 9.45 hours but have few battery saving features. You can stream audio and charge them at the same time. They also have an adjustable auto-off timer via the bundled app. They won't be the ideal headphones if you don't get the chance to charge your headphones throughout the day but their overall battery performance should be good enough for most users.

  • Bass seems weak on these.

  • +3

I thought these were undies when I was scrolling through… wtf Samsung make jocks now?

    • I thought it was a slingshot.

      • hahaha

    • I dunno what kinda undies you wear mate; but it looks nothing like them lol

      • +1

the ones for the dungeon… ^_^
all I need now is a black mask

Mine just rocked up. Seem OK.

    • Same, surprisingly good.

  • Ok I've had mine for a week and used them a lot (all day at work)

Sound is nice, I've seen myself flinch from unexpected sounds that came from behind me only to find it was the audio book I was listening to.

Volume is not great, I'm awaiting foam tips to arrive.

Connectivity is an issue. They connected easily with my S8+, that was as expected. What is unexpected is the amount of hiccups the headset seems to get. I received a notification that I should switch off UHQ sound as it was glitching so I did this and it still has the same amount of stutters (maybe once or twice every couple of minutes. FYI I work outdoors so low chance of interference though I do have a Samsung Smart watch on (Gear Live) I'll try it today without the smartwatch. I'll also try the other pair I bought and see how they go.

    • odd, I use mine with the Samsung A5 2017, and I get no stuttering at all.
what I do find strange, is that the UHQ setting is off, and completely disabled on my Samsung A5, so I can't even turn the damn thing on. wtf?

      • So yesterday I never had an issue at all with sound and was wondering if it was just a reboot and forget thing. Today it's happening again. Go figure.
