originally I did a quote a with TID (which is giving an instant 10% off through september plus a further 10% off with TID0917) and got $61.20
thought I'd try all of the old codes with world2cover and WW20 is active (again) and my quote was $46.09 (for TOP cover).

I've used insure and go paid extra so no excess. Made a couple of claims and never had a problem.
So we always use them.

Have used worldcare before and they paid a $6.5k claim within 2wks.
World nomads are awful and would avoid at all costs. They didn't even tell me when my claim was paid out after several months, just noticed a random amount in my account. Can't comment on the others mentioned.
Disagree on world nomads - have used them for years and had nothing but great customer service and quick payouts when required.
Just got a quote for 3 weeks domestic cover - $57.41. Just reading the PDS, seems in line with Allianz which is more like $142…

Check your bank visa debit/credit card you might already have complimentary travel insurance.
good advice, dependent on the DC/CC. I checked mine and W2C covers a lot more areas with greater coverage with lower excess.
Used these guys for a trip to the states and had a claim. They paid bang on in 2 weeks so I was very happy.
