  • Are all bands supported these days with phones from the US regardless of if they were with a CDMA provider at some stage? Even band… 28!

    • I think if it’s At&T or Verizon unlocked then they don’t. The one posted here has band 28 as per description

      • +1

Actually Verizon should work. I have a 5s unlocked Verizon and I have no troubles getting 4G in Melbourne on Optus

  • +3

Is there a difference between this and the AU model?

  • What conversion rate did you use? and how you get that rate?

    I am getting $761.17

    • There is a discussion on that here

Use a fee free credit card like 28degrees.

      • Thanks… Had to cancel my 28 degrees card when I applied my mortgage refinance earlier this year…

        • same same ~~

        • oh? Why's that? Did you just need to reduce your "potential" CC debt?

        • @blackfrancis75: Nah it doesnt work like that. The serviceability calculation by the bank is done presuming the loan applicant maxes out all credit limits on his/her credit card accounts. The fact that I don't have any credit card debt and that I have good amount of cash savings don't mean a thing from the bank's perspective.

        • @spaij: thanks mate. This is awesome for this deal.

      • I am gonna use my Macquarie card.. Just transferred money to that transaction account.

        • Citibank plus is also good.
          Fee free

@ozy: Thanks. I do have that account!

    • +1

At the time of writing this $1AU = $0.8003USD. So $583.97 US = $729.68 according to XE.

  • pity i already used the code.

    • New account and targetted codes await

  • I bought 4 Wii U premiums and gave them all to my extended family for less then this …. what a world

    • +3

You forgot to get one for your brother ozy

    • Well… you can buy 2 low-end brand 40" LED TVs compare to this 4.7" screen phone, yeah one for Ozy!

  • US ? thought their 4G band is different from Aus.

  • Does the warranty work at Australian Apple?

    • For first year

  • Might have to import the X when it's available…

Does this work with TRS? the company is from US

    • +2

      the company is from US

Just think about what you asked for a moment…

  • why not order directly from apple store us and use a shipping forwarder? its $699usd for iphone8 and 549usd for iphone 7. I wonder will this work with all the networks here.

    • Because there is a difference between 32GB and 128GB. Even if you bought 32GB for $549, how much would shipping cost to forward that to Australia?

      • i phone 8 is so much cheaper in US, only $699 usd so $873 even with a $50 shipping forwarder its much cheaper.

Can't apply code PHONE15 for 15% off. Was it just me?

The msg is the code can't apply to this order.

    • me too
I recon 15% only works at oz sellers

    • +1

If you follow the link in the it should work just fine and no terms for this code doesn’t specify anywhere that it’s for oz sellers only. It’s a sitewide code. You need to know that domain should have .com.au at the end when you add this product to cart before applying coupon

  • I might add, you can't pay using credit card using the phone15 voucher code and must use PayPal. This makes price about $761.

    • You can pay with credit card using paypal, opt for card conversion, not paypal conversion in the final stage of payment. This way it uses the card rate, not paypal's excessive rate.

      • How is that done? It comes to the final checkout stage and PayPal is logged in with only the option of my credit card but with a PayPal conversion of .77c?

        • Underneath where it says the paypal conversion rate there should be something along the lines of "Conversion Options". Click on that and change it from Paypal Conversion to Card Provider conversion.

        • @doweyy:
It does not appear to be there.. I've tired removing eBay permissions on PayPal and also unlinking PayPal to my eBay account. Perhaps its doing it because it keeps coming up logged in somehow?

    • If read previous comments, you will find out it has been discussed in past two posts

  • The code does NOT work for my eBay ID, however works for my wife's. interesting- I definitely haven't used the code before.

  • Thanks just bought one. Paid $733 guess mainly due to exchange rate fluctuation.

  • Thanks OP! Bought one. Paid $731.93 using the card conversion.

  • Just bought one. Thanks OP. Cheapest 128gb iphone7 ever!

  • Clould any one post a link
    Thnks

  • Wow, I just got the Jet black iPhone for $705 after the currency conversion! Also 1.25% cash back which equals to 30% cheaper than the 1k price in stores.

    • how so? mine comes to 732aud 28degrees

      • I made a mistake, they charged me separately for the shipping and I did not select to use my credit card conversion rate. I have cancelled the order.

  • Anyone's phone has been shipped?

    • yes mine shipped yesterday

  • Did any one get the phone now ?

    • +1

It's in Sydney awaiting to be cleared by custom

      • Last update was at Honolulu. They must shipped the phone by ship.

        • Nah still by plane I guess. Probably no direct flight from the vendors location.

        • In Brisbane as of 28/9/17. Should receive the phone tomorrow or day after…

        • @Ahan: Great! Mine maybe need few more days. They just in AU last night.

  • Received mine today. The box is opened. Dont know if it is the custom or something.

    • So how's the phone? Is it unactivated ?

      • It was inactivated

        • well at least it is brand new

  • Mine got delivered today as well. The box was open but the phone is new. Missus is super happy, its her first iPhone.
