They also put the price of the M950 up $50. Last time I looked they were selling it for $89.95

    • I noticed that aswell, shifty I think.

    • Thats actually a $20 increase and with the discount its still less than what you say it was originaly

      • +1

They are talking about M950 not M905

      • Still shifty.

  • Doesn't work on earphones unfortunately.

  • Doesn't work for Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 either….

  • However it does work on: HD Pro Webcam C910 - Logitech ! Anybody ever used this? Time to google some reviews.

EDIT: just bagged myself two of these beauties =D

    Thank you happychappy1 for posting!

  • Doesn't apply to Z5500 speaker.. Worth a try.. hehe..

  • code doesn't work for Logitech G27 Racing Wheel either

    =(

  • its still cheaper than what it originally was.

  • I got excited when I saw the G27 in the icon.
After clicking I realise it's still the stupidly hight price of $599

  • Jack up the prices and then say it's 30% off, very dishonest.

Why not just be Honest and say 10% off or what ever the real amount was instead of making it look like your sale is amazing.

Prices of logitech items fluctuate in price , due to demand and many other factores . no one has jacked uo anyprices , and this 30% off is aofficial logitech promotion , Secondly , for example when a sale expires on an item and promotion ends, is that dishonest ? i dont think so , anyhow , thankyou for your feedback , i still dont think a negative is warranted . but its an opinion and i guess everyone is entitled to theirs

      • your not fooling anyone
true that prices are up due to demand
but u guys are the ones controlling the price. its not an auction where the price is getting bid up

u cud easily sell a heap of g27s before the GT5 crazy even begins. will give other sellers no chance.
ud only sell a handful by marking up to rrp

Thanks for the feedback , but let me say this , its is very hard virtually impossible to get stock of g27 we are struggeling to even just get 5 % of our initial orders allocated to us , and its so simple , when it was sold at the 300 mark the item was virtually loosing money for the vendor , now that its in high demand , they removed all rebated and discounts of it , you are right , i would rather see the sales of 500 a day , rather than 50 a day but when the buy price is higher its not a sustainable option , and last of all , take a look around everywhere you look including ebay the price has shot up . We are not the only distributor so obviously its across the board . the price is higher from vendor all the way to end user .

      • If anything prices should be going down due to the exchange rate. I am a little disappointed with the supposed price fluctuations of the M950 which you have been selling at $89.95 for literally months until the sudden announcement of this 30% off sale where they magically sky-rocketed to $139.95.

although i understand the issue, we've withdrawn the vote under the premise that there wasnt an example. Is there a cached image of the site that shows the site was 30% cheaper before the sale? or a past deal?

  • +1

im saying i expected logitechshop to beat the competition not conform to it!

    • you have my word , we are trying . and no matter what we keep getting the no stock answer , we order mopq 1000 we get 20 , but let me say we are trying

      • -1

Well that's not our problem we are looking for bargains not even pricing so this really isn't a bargain.

Don't use this site to advertise your site unless you have bargains to present.

        • actually it is a bargain , because these prices with the 30 % some are actually unbeatable . so a bargain it is

  • Well maybe someone should post the supposed bargains?

  • Is anyone else experiencing a delay with their order?
Here is what my order status says:

    Order Date: 22nd Oct 2010
This order is marked as Awaiting Fulfillment
    Your Order Contains:
    ◦2 x HD Pro Webcam C910 - Logitech

Seems to me they never had any stock on hand to begin with….

My previous experience with them was much better.

    • Hi

Awaiting fullfilment simply means that we accepted your order and its being processed . Also , can you please note that as per terms and conditions you must allow 10 working days for your order to be processed and despateched , your order has only been done on the 22nd of october .

Awaiting fullfilment doesnt mean we do not have stock , if we didnt have stock , it will show as no stock and it will not let you order

      • Thanks for the prompt reply. I understand the T&C. I was just comparing to my previous order, which I believe was processed faster. Anyway, was just hoping to be able to take the cam on my Melb. Cup break, of which I'll be leaving on Thursday night. I've dropped you guys an email about that.
        Cheers

      • Item has arrived safely. Packaging was excellent. Thank you for the smooth transaction.

Also, in commenting to the above discussion. I believe it is a common business practice for retailers to "fluctuate" prices prior to sales. Dell for example does the same. I know this as I was monitoring the price of the XPS M1330 back when I was hunting for one. There is no doubt that it is a pricing/marketing strategy used to lure unsuspecting customers. However, there usually is an additional saving to be had, if not marginal. The webcams I purchased are cheapest compared to those found on static ice (107.8+delivery?) as well as ebay (130ish). I got 2 of them for $189 (free shipping). That's from a decent shop that packs their items neatly and delivers undamaged goods - hard to get that kind of service when buying from the cheapest on staticice.

There is no need to insult or argue with the store rep, he is running a business, not a charity. Nobody is forcing you to buy the product nor is the store obligated to sell the product to you at the price you want. Since you are all clearly informed on the price range you are willing to pay for a product, just DON'T buy it if it doesn't suit your price range. Simple as that.
