The 20% discount applies to the Apple Watch Series 2 models. The series 2 models have been officially discontinued by Apple with the launch of Series 3.

If you are not interested in the Cellular model of series 3, there is little difference between Series 2 and Series 3 as mentioned here

      Gee thinking about it now it's not that great of a deal $417 for the 42mm aluminium whereas the series 3 which is brand new goes for $499 and has the new cpu & wifi chip.

      looks like i'll wait for a better deal

        I agree, it’s not worth it when series 3 is only $80 more. Maybe series 3 be on sale soon lol

      can change songs with nose while riding bike (actually always use nose to do stuff if hands wet when dishwashing or not available)
      control alarms remotely
      change music volume easily
      tell the time/date with a easily changeable watch face
      instant stopwatch access
      delete mail on watch immdiately
      quick response to text or use voice to compose response
      remotely control camera
      can operate while driving to avoid touching phone
      track daily activity and heart rate

        @Jetship: Yep, through Siri or you can install an app for physical interaction. Of course with the series 2 you need to be within bluetooth range to your phone. The LTE model presumably will remove that restriction.

      weather for the day (current temp for the current location) - this is good as I work in an office and have no idea what the temp is outside.
      notifications (is that a boring one I can ignore, or one that I should respond to?)
      the time!
