Use the free Let's Encrypt if you don't need a green bar.
Those considering a green bar, corporate giants (i.e. Google/Facebook/Microsoft/etc) don't even use EV SSL.
The bargain site you visit everyday too doesn't use one…

If you really need one, wanting to look cool and flaunt your cash:
Cheaper EV SSL for green bar AUD 111.13/yr OR AUD 98.63/yr for 2 years

If you want to support Australian business and have ~$60 to spare then go with OP.

it is true that not many people need an EV one, while many still do like to have one.Mostly when the business is just starting out to show that the business have been validated by a 3rd party.
If your after a cheaper SSL just to secure the site just go with a domain validated one: https://www.ssltrust.com.au/ssl-certificates/cheap
They can be purchased for under $10
And yes a comodo EV SSL is cheaper, but if you have ever had to validate with comodo you will know they are not a pleasant company to deal with and you will get fustrated by their support/service very quickly. But some do find it easy when they have all their company docs and DUNS ready to and good to go: https://www.ssltrust.com.au/comodo-ssl/positivessl-ev
