Birds Eye Frozen Onion Rings $2 (Save $2) @ Coles

560

Time to get your onion ring fix. These were last this price back in April 2017 so looks like it's a 6 monthly cycle.

Price does go down to $3 fairly regularly but rarely are they 1/2 price or less.

Thanks to Price Hipster.

    How do you cook them?

    • +3

      Healthy way— oven/air fryer
Tasty way — deep fry :p

    • 190 degrees in a deep fryer for a minute and your good to go!

    • +3

Just in the oven is easiest - I think they're partially pre-cooked and you're really just warming and browning.

That's what I wanted to hear, don't have an air fryer or deep fryer.

No deal for me, won't neg as it's a good price for BE, but this is regular price for the Aldi onion rings which happen to also taste a shite load better. Not sure why BE are so orange either…

    • Thanks for the info. I might have to give them a try sometime.

    • +1

Yep the Aldi ones are much nicer.

  • These aren't real slices of onions covered in batter right?

    • Crumbed onion rings.

      • So what about the onions? Just processed onion flavoured crap?

        • Real onion.

          @Scab:

Ah I bought these last year.. they're just mashed crap, like hungry jacks ones. They're just okay for the price. Nothing like real proper onion rings.

        • @CVonC: You tried really really hard to dislike this.

        • @jacross:

          I don't like them.

  • This is the first post on the homepage at the moment after a long string of ebay PARTY18 ones and for a moment i was thinking "WHY WOULD SOMEONE BUY FROZEN ONION RINGS ON EBAY?!" Heh

    • Lol I thought the exact same thing… extra 18% off 1/2 price onion rings, sold!
