    Eligible for TRS?

    • Yes!

      • How much would you get back from it?
And how do you get it back?
I've never done TRS before and will be heading to Japan on Nov 16!

        • %10 of the price. In this case it will be $120.

There is an app you can use as well.

          @PanahKH:

Splitting hairs here, but it's technically 9%.

GST is 10% of the pre-tax price. Which means it's 1/11th of the total price.

For anyone wanting to know, you'd get back exactly $109.02

Not enough to destroy their neighbours to the north

    • Not sure why you are getting negged, I got a lol out of the comment.

      • Lol same here, some people can't take a joke

      • Because we're brainwashed to become attached to brands and large corporations, and therefore take personal offence to any negative remarks made about them.

Isn't this the phone George Soros uses?

    • No!! I would never endorse any product by George SOROS the goblin..

SOROS minions prefer the true monopolistic, globalist apple ecosystem anyway… :p

      • You actually think Samsung and Google are less monopolistic and globalist than Apple?

        • +1

Apple has the most monopolistic (cult) marketing.
Google & Samsung play monopolistic games, but they are also Essential(istic).
It's hard to imagine a mobile product without Samsung hardware/patents(essential), or Google software (search, maps, gmail, youtube…).

        • @taki: I don’t think you know what the word monopolistic or essential mean… Believing Samsung to be essential to mobile technology is about cultish as you can get.

        • Yes, google and Apple actually censor and manipulate data and free speech. They are all POS companies. By far however, the least evil of the lot is Samsung.

Google and Apple are far leftist endorsing corporates.

        • @NoRotation: I just discovered that I'm smarter because "I know that I know nothing"
          (Socrates).
          https://news.samsung.com/global/samsung-electronics-ranked-n…
You cannot monopolise over Essential patents.

As much as Google wants to monopolise, it gives much more freebies than most of the peer companies. Your data helps them to give you relevant ads, compared to useless on Free2Air TV.
With Apple iPay everything, even their marketing research.

        • +1

@taki: Does Socrates say anything about irony? You complain about Apple marketting while using Samsung's own press release to praise them for patenting standard technologies? They are patenting technologies that other companies are forced to use and driving up the costs of all their competitors, literally textbook monopolistic actions. Nobody can make a phone with 3G or 4G without paying Samsung a few percent on each phone sold. You're also praising Google for selling your information to adveritising companies to better target you with ads? I think you might have drunk a bit too much of the Samsung/Google kool-aid.

  • Is it a dual-sim version?

  • V30 or Note 8?

    • +1

If you've got the cash, I'd say Note 8.. If not, wait a couple of extra months and wait for the inevitable v30 price freefall

  • The person picking up has to be the same as name as the paypal right? or we can choose different person to pickup?
