I had a play with the quotes, Travel Insurance Direct is 10% cheaper with a 10% discount (which is almost always possible). TID is even cheaper than Medibank if you reduce the excess to $0.

  Mine was definitely more expensive via TID (depend on your scenario)
  also they pay less overall for luggage and a few other measures

  thought Medibank is cheaper… but then i looked at the coverage… lots of exclusions and non cover for medibank
  TID for me
