    • +3

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/332695

I think these can be activated using "$50 Talk Combo Starter Pack." Includes 9GB Data, Infinite standard national calls & TXT within Australia, 90 minutes calls to selected 58 countries & 1000 minutes calls to selected 25 countries.

      • +2

I am on it then. Thanks

      • yeah that's what happened with my pack.

      • +2

Is it possible to activate it as $50 credit on the 365 day PAYG+ plan?

        • I tried to activate a $30 Vodafone SIM from an earlier deal.

Automatically chooses the plan for you, so likely no dice.

      • I can confirm this. The packaging is from 2014 therefore out of date (3GB etc).

        You get the following:

$50 Talk Combo Starter Pack. Includes 9GB Data, Infinite standard national calls & TXT within Australia, 90 minutes calls to selected 58 countries & 1000 minutes calls to selected 25 countries.

        • 1000 standard international minutes from Australia to 25 selected countries.

The $50 and $60 Talk Combo recharge features 1000 standard international minutes from Australia to 25 selected destinations. These destinations are Argentina, Bangladesh, Canada, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Puerto Rico, Romania, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom and the United States of America.

Just bought one, money gone from PayPal but no email from HN. Anyone else?

    • They can take long to email you, I wouldn't worry.

    • I got the email from HN eight minutes after the PayPal email.

  • +3

Don't these Pre-Paid Starter Packs loaded with $50 initial value receive whatever inclusions come with the plans available at the time of activation and not necessarily as printed on the packs which may be outdated? http://www.vodafone.com.au/prepaid/plans/state/starter-pack/… currently unlimited talk & text + 9GB data + International call inclusions on Talk Combo 35 day expiry or unlimited talk & text + 12GB data on Data Combo offer until 2017-10-17. I don't know what the $50 Data Combo plan changes/reverts to after that offer expires.

    • +2

Yeah that's correct. I had some of these from the $1 coles express deal that didn't even have nano-sims, they all activated with 9GB.

    • +1

      Yea, that makes sense.

That means it could either come with better inclusions than they do now or worse, completely dependent on whether they improve or worsen their $50 offering!

  • +1

Any end date to activate the sim?

  • +1

bought one each, ready to pick up from QV VIC after 5 mins of placing the order. thanks.

  • Thanks, bought 1 of each for overseas guests

  • +1

Just be aware that the "Multi Fit" is Only a Standard/Micro sim size, Not the newer three in one that includes "Nano" as well.

In my haste I ordered one of each, only to check old stock and find out the above. Will try to swap in store when pick up if possible.

P.S. You can order multiple times after paying and completing order.

    • The question is will they honour if ordered multiple times and pick-up at the same time though?

      • they just sent me two separate ready to collect emails so looks like they were ok for me to buy two

        • +1

Yep, same here, two collect emails. Even called them and can swap my two Multi Sim packs for the Nano.

    • You can just get vodafone to swap the sim for free

    • What is the different of a standard sim size and 3 in one?

      • +1

The multifit, according to the photo on the website, only has the full and microsim sizes, not the nano

        • I just pick up one from the store. If it is not fit for the phone, I may have to go to Vodafone store to swap the sim card. Thanks.

  • Thanks, just brought one.

  • You can order 1 x Nano and 2 x Multi-Fit sims in a single transaction.

    • or just put in 2 transactions separately

      • +2

Or put in 0 transations three times.

  • I'm wondering if these are available in store..

    • Guess so.

  • I just got an email to say the order is under review by the online team.

      • ok thanks, it's far away from my home. It costs me more than I can save if I travel to there.

        • You may give a couple of stores a ring to find out if they still have a display one for sale. Sometimes the store can tell you which store still have a few left (online status could be different comparing to the stock from the stores).

    • The Bundall branch on the Gold Coast still has the $50 nano packs, just ordered one.

  • Just go there and buy any quantity they have

  • +1

Does anyone know if these can be activated under the Prepaid 365 Plus plan?
Also if you can pick the plan then according to this page….
    http://www.vodafone.com.au/prepaid/plans/state/starter-pack/…
…theres a data-combo plan that has 12gig and no international minutes, nice.

  • +2

Wow, I am amazed at how quick this deal got posted. I have a price hipster alert on these, and this post was added about 14 minutes after the alert triggered. I was busy and only saw the alert just a few minutes ago, then I went to buy some, then I was going to post it after I had bought mine… but as I was actually buying it I saw items going out of stock, and so I thought "I bet that's because it's already been posted to OzBargain", and sure enough here it is!

    Kogan offer includes delivery

    • The Kogan SIM has to be activated by the end of the month.

  • Placed order for Multi Fit and Nano under my and wife name. Harvey Norman has just sent email for order pick up but only listed 1 sim in each confirmation.

  • None available east side of Melbourne that I can find (multi fit that is)

    • If you type the postcode 3099 or 3199, plenty of stores still have it.

      • You're right save50, north and far east do appear to have stock, but nothing within cooee of mid SE burbs

  • Is it for new customers only? Can I port my number? I'm currently on Vaya deal.

    • +1

Guess so but you have to talk to Vodafone.

  • +4

I can't believe I caved in and bought something from Hardly Normal :(

    Great post op :)

Brah just bought from 711 few days back for $15,argghhhhh

  • Ugh… none left in sydney

    • +1

Just checked you can still order the 2nd one Nano pack for $5 at
HN @ DM Belrose In stock
      4 - 6 Niangala Close, Belrose, NSW 2085
      02 9479 8800

      • bummer I'm too slow :(

  • Personally, i wouldn't touch vodafone due to poor reception where I most use it.

    • +2

Thanks for your personal advice regarding your secret location. There will be good and bad spots for all 3 Telcos if you look.

      Test first, buyer beware.

  • Ok I guess when I go to QV Melbourne tomorrow noon it will be out of stock.

  • How do you use it, if you buy multiple ones? Do you have to swap Sims every month? Or it's just a code you can apply to keep recharging? Thanks

  • +6

$14.95 delivery?!? For a letter? Are they sending it via an Uber?

    • I think it must be that the letter is sent S.W.A.L.K.

  • If you want efficient, friendly service with your HN c'n'c order,I can definitely recommend their Preston VIC store as the place to skip.

  • Not available un vic

    • Too late, they are probably sold out in all stores in VIC by now.

I managed to place 2x separate C&C orders @ Watergardens VIC store yesterday.

  • There was still quite a few left at my local stores, although they were not listed as available online anymore.

Apparently 1 guy put through ~15 orders with different names etc. and they cancelled every one of them.

    • +1

No doubt it was one of our OzBargain brothers.

  • I ordered a few days ago and still haven't seen my pickup email :/

Got billed and a receipt but not much else.

    • Ring the store to find out.

      • I just walked in and they had it in the store room.

Never got the confirmation email tho.

Although the store is now listed as "Out of Stock" they still had about ~ 30 SIMs.

I saw the guy searching through them because they gave me a nano instead of a micro.

It's a bit suspect. They delisted the stock as soon as my order went through.

  • HN @Address: 7 Abdon Cl, Bennetts Green NSW 2290, Australia has stock, so you can try

    • They are sold out of the $50 one, but he told me Ballina, JM Warrawong, Dubbo, Bateman's Bay & Armidale had @ 10 each. Maitland had 2.
Maitland (both HN & DM) had 20 each.Erina Nowra & Tweed Heads had a few.

  • Not in stock in any HN stores within 20km of me :(
Delivery charge is more than 2 SIMs ( $14.95)

  • Can I use multiple of these started pack SIMs in succession keeping my same number? If so, what would be the process?
