75% off Final Value Fees for The Next 10 Items You List & Sell @ eBay

100

Get 75% off your Final Value Fees for the next 10 items you list & sell. T&Cs apply. Sure it's not as good as no final value fees, but still better than nothing.

Looks like a targeted offer, two of my three accounts received this offer.

The T&Cs page is not yet working, most likely the usual terms will apply.

Here's a screenshot of the offer.

I didn't get targeted but anyone can use this link to test quickly if they did or not.

Basically the ongoing amount fees should be all the time if they want me to ever sell again.

Hopefully no one will mention Amazon in this post.

  • These offers don't apply to relisted items. So, you have to list at a very attractive price for a quick sale. Hasn't been working for me… sales are pretty dead on eBay at the moment unless it is dirt cheap :(

    • Correct. If you want to list something again you can't just relist it as-is, you need to click the link to go into the item and edit the details. This forces the system to see it as a 'new' listing, which will be eligible.

Just got an anaemic 20% - not enough to motivate me.
Fees are just too high now

    • If you get 10% more than selling on gumtree then its worth it so you don't need people coming to your front door.

      • True, but they have cynically increased the percentage click by click because they know there is no effective competition. It does not sit well to be the sucker of a monopoly. The fees are a big bite out of the overall costs to sellers now and really effecting items where margins are low. Computer parts, for example. Fees make the eBay version much higher than B&M stores in many cases now.

      Thanks for letting us know.

      • Thanks for sharing your thoughts

  • I have a 50% off and 75% off promotion in My eBay. When I sell my next item, which one takes priority?

    • Whichever one you want, just message customer support, they are usually very helpful in this regard

    • List the item, and see where it deducts from under your selling page.

It'll likely be the better offer.

  • Last time they ran this, one of the T&Cs was:

The promotion only applies to Final Value Fees and is not available for any multi-quantity listings. Insertion fees apply.

  • Weird.. I got the promo but when I listed my item, it was included into my normal free fixed price & auction listing (basically free insertion fee only).

  • The T&C page comes up as
    Page not found
The requested page could not be found.

    Anyone have a screenshot?

      Nope.

I have made an online chat with ebay au representative.

She said,"I may need to escalate this to Marketing department since there seems an issue with the Terms and condition page but you do not have to worry as we can honor the listings listed and sold within the said time period."

So, the promo is only for listings 'listed' and 'sold' within the timeframe which is relatively short. :(

I guess not too much advantage for me.
