$250 Cashback on ANZ Low Rate Platinum Credit Card after $500 Spend in 60 Days. $99 Annual Fee

40

Cashback deal is back again, replacing the recent westfield giftcard offer. Still not as good as the Westpac $200 back/no annual fee but $151 earned after annual fee isn't too bad for a low spend requirement, low min income card.

To apply for an ANZ Low Rate Platinum credit card, you need to:
* Be 18 years of age or over
* Have a good credit rating
* Be a permanent Australian resident, earning a minimum annual income of $35,000
* Be a non-Australian permanent resident with more than 9 months remaining on your Visa, earning a minimum annual income of $35,000

Not available in conjunction with other offers, packages or promotions, or when transferring from an existing ANZ credit card or where you currently hold or have closed an ANZ Rewards, ANZ Rewards Platinum or ANZ Rewards Black credit card within the previous twelve months.

But ANZ Frequent Flyer card holders should be OK

  • Not available in conjunction with other offers, packages or promotions,

Does that include the recent ANZ Access Advantage promotion ?

    • Yes want to know this as well I had the access advantage, closed it last year but less than a year from now

What if you cancel before you have to pay annual fee?

  • ANZ is the only company to ever knock me back for a CC. Although I have a bank account with them.
I have a full suite of Amex plus a Citibank CC. and never had a problem getting them.
I assume that a knock back does not look good on your credit report, and so I will never again apply to ANZ.

    • Yeah unforunately there are quite a few requirements ($35k income, $99 annual fee) and very little reward ($151 after annual fee). I might give this one a miss.

the 35k income is actually plus point, will be easy to get approved for most people.
$151 can get you lots of geekbuying gadgets :)

        • Does this 35K requirement refers to household income or applicant's only?

  • Can anyone confirm for those with already have a FF black card they are still eligible for this?? Also, how long does ANZ take to credit the money to your account?
