  • Worthy?

    • If paired with an Xbox yes - not sure if this one has bluetooth - suspect not which means you'll need the microsoft dongle if using on a PC. Personally … pay a bit extra for the bluetooth enabled one.

      • Thanks, I need one for playing rpg on pc, so guess I need to get a Bluetooth one.

        • Yes this is the Bluetooth one

        • Controller with 3.5 headphone jack has Bluetooth.
When I paired mine with portable USB bluetooth, it was not smooth. headphone voice was laggy as hell.
Plugged controller via micro USB and it works great. I do have the Microsoft dongle, but have not tried it for play plus sound.

      • Looking at the item page, it seems this one has bluetooth?

      • What do you mean suspect not..It literally says "Microsoft Xbox One S Wireless Bluetooth Game Controller Gamepad for PC+USB Cable" in the listing title haha.

      • I stand corrected … I thought most of the black controllers werent bluetooth enabled. Trust me not to fully read the listing. Thanks all for pointing it out

  • What bluetooth dongle do people recommend?

    • You can either get a cheapo one for a few bucks off eBay, or the new Microsoft one

  • Is this a wired or a wireless controller? From the description it seems to be wired

    • From the description it seems to be wired

      ??

      • But then later on..

        "Wired controller

Enjoy a powered and reliable connection with a wired controller. No need to change batteries."

        • Cmon do you really thing that an Xbox One controller is hard-wired? Microsoft has never made a hard wired Xbox One Controller, nor has Playstation for the PS4.

It literally says wireless in the listing title and throughout the description. And what, am I going to have a wire sticking out not connected to anything if I play via Bluetooth? Or if I want to play on my Xbox..?

Really don't understand where you're getting this "wired connection" only thing from… You get a micro-usb cable that you can use to plug in to your computer or console if you don't have batteries. It's as simple as that.

  • has anyone tried these to use an Xbox One controller on PS4? Reviews look good.

  • Genuine Microsoft product or 3rd party?

  • Any difference between these and the ones that came with the original Xbox One? And by that I mean any noticeable difference?

    • Yes. Textured grips and Bluetooth.

      • Hmm. The grips on the original one seems kind of textured but the Bluetooth might be handy
