Buy something sturdier and thank me later.

I've got three of them cable tied together, then bolted to the wall. Seems sturdy enough for my entire car worth of spare parts I have :)

    • I've got both - the Supercheap one will cut you in no time and the Bunnings one will require some force to snap it together. Even more fun when you need to disassemble it.

      • soft hammer or bit of timber…

        • bit of both actually and lots of banging…imagine I have to pull 4 of them apart.

I have a few of these and they're sturdy enough. But if I was given the option of having to assemble these again or getting a vasectomy, I would choose to get a vasectomy twice.

based on how sharp some of the edges are, its possible to do both at the same time…

300mm is rather thin for storing stuff. Personally I've got 600mm shelves in our garage and I think even 400mm would be too small.

Cheap and Sturdy enough, I bought 6 earlier this year and spent a night working in the garage putting them all up.

First one took me 20 mins to build, another 5 took me an average of approx 11mins each to build with assistance of a cordless drill.

Worth it or not? It really depends on how much do you value your free time…

      This guy shelves.

    • Could you plot your results so we can Anal-yse further.

      • Personally I like pie charts the best. Mmmmm, pie….

    • Yeah I built one too, you really do need a electric screwdriver of some kind.

  • Are these shelves thin enough to wobble board before I stack all my candy?

  • I have about 20 of these and none of them ever balance properly (probably assembling it incorrectly) but dam worth it if you don't stack heavy things on it ( I use it to shelve my light weighted stock

  • Too small and flimsy.

  • even the product pictures look shoddy, the vertical members seem to be twisted lol. guess you can't really expect more for that price though.

  • Bunnings has similiar shelves for $10.38 it is usually $12.49 they appear to be the same specs.

  • I bought 2 of these from bunnings years ago. Set one up and used it to justify the blood letting during build. Threw the other one out still in its box during council collections. They should come with warning labels or reclassified as weapons!

  • I have the Bunnings one, it is pretty good, it has small (flimsy) rubber feet add ons, the SCA one does not seem to, you need them if you place it on anything other than plain concrete.

  • why its bent on top ?

  • I'ved used this before, as aluminium is soft by nature, these shelf get bent easily. I would go for the bunnings one any day.
