  • It's a steal at that price. I picked mine up during the Harvey Norman sale and zero regrets.
Major regrets had I paid the RRP though ;)

  • What switches are in these things? Starting to take an interest in mechanical KB and it's a whole new world compared to the normal keyboards from Officeworks and Dell.

      Logitech's "Romer-G" switches. Review on Tom's Hardware.

    • +1

They designed their own switches called Romer G.

    • Romer-G, hated them at the start compared with cherries but now I have gotten used to them and find them actually satisfying to type on. Like advanced membrane keys. Make the light look a lot better as the LED shoots through the middle of the keycap instead of top or bottom. They do require a fair bit more actuation force.

They do require a fair bit more actuation force.

Pretty sure they have the same actuation force as MX Reds ie. 45 grams but they have the tactile bump like MX Browns.

I just started using a Logitech G Pro with Romer-G's … love the way they look - almost no illumation around the keys and I sorta of like them. But I did order a Corsair Rapidfire with (currently exclusive to Corsair) MX Speed keys. They're MX Red's with 1.2mm actuation like Romer-Gs rather than 1.5mm … which makes about zero difference to how fast you press the keys of course :p

I think it's just that I'm not a MX Brown person. MX Reds have a smooth increase in force as you press down which I like a lot and the Romer's have that bump like Browns. I'm using a MX Red equipped number pad with the G Pro Romer-G TKL keyboard so I have side by side comparison atm ..

Still, eac to their preferred etc.

        • Have the K95 rapifire too with the mx speed keys. No bump so not my personal preference - very fast though. I prefer MX brown so yeah very subjective.

  • Got this from HN. Absolutely love the typing feel. I also have G610 MX Blue which is very nice but end up using G-Romer as a daily driver. However, the only downside of G910 is its size. It's huge on the desk and take so much space and I constantly hit the keyboard with my mouse during gaming session. I end up got the G Pro TKL which is absolutely perfect for gaming and using G910 at work.

  • Really great keyboard.

Not as customisable as razer but personally i prefer the feel of the keys.

$135 is incredible for such a solid piece of gear.

  • Anyone here changed from a Razer keyboard (specifically the old BlackWidow if you've owned one) to this one? Was it a good change?
