      I went with a moto G4 plus ($240), and now have an LG V20 ($360) …. both grey imports, both have band 28 which is a real bonus in covered areas.

          there are parts of the Melbourne CBD (toilets at work) where the band 28 BOOMs and I get 5 bars of signal strength, without band 28 I didn't get coverage in the toilets.

          On the train to work seems to vary with whatever bands it can find and congestion when train pulls into station.

          I'm on a 15GB phone plan in regards to data consumption.

          I have a Samsung galaxy S5, doesn't have 850mhz(B5), 2600mhz (B7) and also 700mhz (B28).
          I was with optus and now with Jeenee (optus reseller).

          I am yet to find a problem not having those frequencies.
          I live in the south Easter suburbs of Victoria.
          When I am in the country, I get the usual blackspots between towns.
          A friend of mine has a farm, they had to get a repeater antenna for TElstra, I had Optus 4g there.

    An absolutely amazing phone, I use a Xiaomi MI6 (6GB/128GB version) on Telstra, never had any dropouts/issues due to missing B28, and travel around the Melbourne metro suburbs. Frequently on 4g, CBD 4g+.

    I've owned 4 Sammys since 2011, got this on a whim this year (eBay 18%off bday sale), pretty impressed so far.
