Just got my set from a prior offer and it is absolutely superb. I'm actually considering purchasing another set.

    • +1

Seems to be going down by around $2 each time. Maybe if I waited a while, it'll be $17.99.
This one actually says the correct number, 24 in 1. The previous deals said 25, which is incorrect.

      • Perhaps the previous deals were including the screwdriver as a separate piece, where this one does not?

    • Do you know if the screw tips are magnetic? If it was magnetic it would be quite useful for computer building.

      • They are not, but you can magnetize them.
I think a good PH2 would be more suitable for computer building though, unless you actually do need to work with smaller screws.

      • +1

I own one and yes the tips are magnetic. So is the case for them. Pretty good piece of kit.

    Thanks, just ordered!

  • My 28 degrees mc is converting to $27.02?

    • +1

Change to AUD on the website.

      • Great that worked thanks.

  • Missed it last time. Got one this time.
    Thanks OP.

  • Still waiting on mine from… Lightinthebox maybe? It's been like a month, I might have to check on it soon.

Edit: From zapals. Anyone had much experience with them?

    • +1

When I have ordered from Zapals it has always taken around six weeks.

      • Thanks, I'll hold out. Haven't actually needed them I guess

    • +2

      They're slow but they deliver.

  • These screwdrivers look like they are mainly for watch, laptop and phone repairs. Anyone else use them for other day to day stuff?

    • They are pretty well made for that purpose and not likely to be of use for any work that doesn't involve consumer electronic devices. For that I have different sets of Wera screwdrivers.

    • Suitable for quartz watch, regular household appliances such as cameras, radios, computers, mobile phones, drones, etc., meeting the most daily repair needs

  • +4

Mine arrived yesterday from the Gearbest $26 deal.

Really impressed with the quality, especially the casing - it's even spring loaded so it won't slide open accidentally.

    Xiaomi

Does it have Bluetooth? Band 28? App connectivity? Looking for the Xiaomi usuals :p

    • +1

      All of the above! :)

      • But you do need the ZigBee hub

  • +5

What are these? Screwdrivers for ants?

  • Ordered with insurance total AU$26.61, thanks.

    Gear Best is great.
I buy some random, cheap, kinda of useful looking thing, I forget about it, then 10-30 days later I get a little surprise in my mailbox!

    • Same. A package turned up just before, had no idea what it was. It was a Xiaomi mouse from a while ago. Not too shabby, using it now :)

      • I got a Xiaomi pen, today!
        Pretty nice pen.

  • Thanks OP. Just what I am looking for after the dog decided to pee on the iRobot Roomba… Time to get a fixing!

    • Should get xiaomi robot vacuum instead.. Anti pee I heard.

  • Ordered one. Took a lot longer than it needed too. For some reason gearbest was complaining that my address was over 40 chars. Used the exact same address I've used for dozens of gearbest orders in the past, including yesterday. Anyway, changed Road to Rd and it was all good :)

  • I don't need screwdrivers but this looks so nice can't resist

    • Me too, I got a $12 42 piece set from Zapals a few weeks ago, it works really nicely. Not sure what I'll do with this one, but always handy to have I guess :)

          back again with another code

I purchased this the last time around. Got to love the very small heads, especially the torque ones. I've taken apart things were the screw was ridiculously small and didn't have anything that would fit. Not this time though!

Oh and that feeling when you press the top and it pops up. Oh yeah ;)

  • Mine was delivered a week ago-impressive for the price!

  • thanks op, xiaomi your xiaomi..!

  • missed one more time damm.

  • haha got one! third time lucky
    much appreciated, op!

  • So many similar sets on eBay for cheaper….

    • +2

These are apparently pretty decent quality from what other OzBargainers have said. A lot of cheap sets are horrible and break easy, see below.

Yesterday I actually went to use my cheap set I got from SuperCheapAuto years ago to pull apart my MacBook Air and discovered a couple broken screwdriver tips, this deal came at the perfect time :D Ordered a set, I look forward to using it in a month :D

    • +5

The cheap crap you buy on eBay are awful. The bits wear out quickly, leading to stripped screw heads which is what you really don't want when working with small delicate parts.

These bits are by Wiha and are made of a really tough tool steel. Cheap bits are typically made of Kraft cheese, although sometimes they're made of something tougher like Oreos.

      • lol those are some solid analogies

  • Expired for me
